It's no fun when you are expecting it.

I was sitting there enjoying my coffee, and two guys grabbed me and took me away, now I'm in big trouble

*coff* window shopping

Yes, I thought of that too. Now we know that you CANNOT BE SURE whether you're shopping until you've passed the cashier.

So if you are in a store and someone calls you on your cell phone to ask what you're doing, you have to say, "I don't know yet."

So, over the weekend, Kit and I spent some time at Muscle Beach in Venice:

(by the way...these roller skates from PixelMode are awesome! You get both the white and black boots, and you can change the color of the laces, wheels and toe stopper :) )

Maybe I've been sorting my inventory too long today or it was the Harry Potter group gift from Pdiddle that I shouldn't have messed with.

I'm thinking you're going to need a good massage.

That sounds just about right from what I have observed the retail habits of the female of the species to be.

And retail habits are acquired singly.

ive been getting my coffee salted every night for 3 months!

One day I cooked myself an omelet and found that it tasted a little sweet. I didn't like it, but I didn't think much about it until the next Sunday morning when my mother cooked a large fritatta. Again, it tasted sweet.

I turned to my younger sister and asked, "Did you put sugar into the salt?"

"No," she replied, wide-eyed with surprise. "Why would I do that?"

"For a joke!" I said, "Obviously!"

"I would never think of that!" she declared.

My mother gave me an exasperated look and said, "Why do you have to put ideas in her head?"

Then, of course, when I asked whether eggs ever have a sweet taste, I was guilty of trying to change the subject.

When we started the Forum Cartel, that was one of the first things Chris and I encouraged. Use the group chat to babble away. It annoyed some people, some left the group because of it, but there were some absolutely hilarious exchanges. Some real stream of consciouness stuff.

I'm a complete and utter introvert. Can't get a word out of me, physically hurts to talk, but for some reason I find myself squealing away, like a lamb being sheared for the first time, in the group chat. Though said squealing seems to only occur in this group (though there are also times when Mistress ends up with about 8000 IM's to email some nights).

Marianne... I do love all your pics but this one... this one makes me want to join the SL kids and rebuild my childhood. So sweet! You are all so adorable!

Thanks and keep us apprised of what is going on in camp! Hugs!

/me blushes. Thankoo!

We did a follow up piccie later, after more people were awake (but still too late in the evening for the big crowd, really). Unfortunately, not everyone rezzed f'r me, so I could not get us all in the shot. Anyway, here's my brother Pygar's shot instead:

(Full size at http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=386839 )

...and more inna sec from last night, too. :-)

First off, gotta brag. I won at Volleyball, I won at fishing, an I took second in th' 80s trivia contest (an that's not my best subject!). I hadda do a "yay me" sorta piccies. :-)

But the more fun thing was this, late last night. Mr Gattz made a slide thing. It was a tube with lots of twisties, that is almost 4000m high. You got in an sit inside a bubble, an let physics do the rest. It was awesome. Yes, piccies!

From near the top:

Ridin' in the bubble:

Oooh, mouselook. This can make you totally feel like losin' some lunch:
