The problem with that though Seven, is the owner would still have to take the skirt back into inventory to attach it. Where it will go back to it's default attachment point. I think?

I don't know. I can try it on a skirt of my own and see. But I think that since the second copy is only rezzed and not attached, it will work.

I can try it with Moth and see.

What if you take a shoe, rez it and then stretch it so it's enormous, take it into inventory and then put it on? It will be enormous and on your foot, no?

This is true, but positioning a linked set of prims is relatively simple once it's shape (the relative position of the linked prims) has been adjusted satisfactorily.

Seven's idea is ingenious.

If you have a mod shape, you can recreate the shape so that it is transferable. You can then transfer the shape to someone else, transfer the skirt (assuming it is transfer) to this person, and they can mod it to fit together. Then send back the skirt.

*purrs and licks Mistress*

That's how I finally got my restraints adjusted for my body. Many many bodies ago.

Though in that instance it had been a shape I had created myself, and not just one I had mod rights to.

That is what I was thinking. I'm having a hell of a time with some of that stuff too, namely Marine's Shibari.

Fried Green Tomatoes?

.

Was there bunny stew in Fried Green Tomatoes? I can't recall. I know that I liked the movie at the time, but I can't really remember it now. Other than Kathy Bates getting pissed that a young chick stole her parking place and so Bates repeatedly rammed her car into young woman's car.

Later Bates appeared nude in About Schmidt, but that's a different issue.

I think there was stew, and I think the main ingredient was this awful man who was bothering one of the women in the film.

It's Marine Kelly's Real Restraint. It's full scripted with a variety of poses. It's pretty much all one needs ropework wise. It's just hard to get the torso portion fitted properly, at least for me. I'll send you a LM to her store.

Before taking the skirt back, you note it's exact position/rotation values. Wear the original skirt and set position/rotation to match the rezzed one that was edited by the other person.

That is what I adjusted for Lexxi, IIRC. I can attempt yours for you if you like.

For myself, I really don't like just textured clothing layers. Unless the clothing is very simple, it just looks contrived to me. I'd rather have outfits which combine layers and prims, and spend the time getting prims adjusted and be satisfied with the result than compromise. There have been very few things which I have been unable to make fit eventually.
