he he. I know what you mean. But even there I am starting to realize that "someday' is never going to come in this lifetime, so I am doing a similar RL purge. fortunately, RL stuff is all Transfer, so at least it can be given away to someone.

I've had these size 8 jeans since before my second child was born. I refuse to get rid of them or give up hope.:p Though I would have to actually get off my ever growing ass to get back down to a size 8....So hopefully hoping is enough.:p

Yeah that.

My avie is a bit more "realistic" and so most prim attachments don't fit, even boots, without an hour's worth of tweaking. I often give up too, but haven't been ruthless enough to delete them... just like those clothes in RL I think I might be able to wear "someday"...

I usually have to take Treasure's leg muscles down a click or 2 to fit into most boots. And her ass down to fit into 'some' skirts, not all. I wish though, that I knew how to make her thighs a little bigger without adding muscle to the calf. Her thighs are way too skinny, to be supporting that ass.

Where did you live in New England Seven?:)

Uhh.... I will tell you but I am always leery about saying RL facts about myself. So I will be specific and vague. I can tell you inworld where I live now.

My family is from the northeast of Massachusetts. Places like Newburyport, Lowell, Haverhill. I lived there until I was seven (really) and then we moved to New Jersey. All my family except for half of my sisters live in Massachusetts.

Half of us still eat clam chowdah and pahk the cah in Havahd Yahd. I lost the accent when my plane when down in the Himalayas and I was trained to speak correctly in a hidden monastery.

I'm doing a fairly good job holding my own in PRS
I cracked up here. PRS is the abbreviated name of our PRISONER application.

He probably did not sign up in time. Camp fills up awful fast. :-)

I refuse to alter my avatar. I like the way she looks and spent too much time on her to change. Stretching really frustartes me. I just can't get it to come out evenly. I spent time getting what I think is right from one side, then look at another angle and that side is off. Fix that, and the first side is off again. I spent a good part of this morning working on a prim attachment for a costume and finally gave up. Since it is important to the costume, the entire outfit was canned. It's too bad someone else can't edit you battached prims. Sometimes a different pair of eyes can work wonders.

I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with my trip between New York and Washington, D.C. on an Amtrak train.
I want to take an Amtrak trip out to the west coast.

I shouldn't have said "correctly" - it's a tease we have in my family.

I understand. One of my sisters is like you. She wants to do voice work (like for radio, commercials, dubbing, etc.) and has some connections so she *could* get into it. Each time she makes a move in that direction someone will say to her, "If you want to be in this business, you have to lose the accent."

She harrumphs and frowns fiercely at them and says she will not change.

Yep. I have a lot of tops that used to be parts of prim dresses where I just deleted the skirts. Same with belts, if it takes more than 5 minutes to look right, the belt gets canned, and if the outfit doesn't look right without the belt, it goes too. I don't have time for that stretching, rotating, and stretching ad nauseum nonsense.

Yep - about 10 min is my max on editing and if it will not adjust in that amount of time, I trash it. Luckily I seldom need to do more than a bit of tweaking on the fit.

Yes, that is why I lost mine. Somehow they found things to say anyway.

Maybe they can. We could try if you want.

It might be more trouble than you care to spend though.

Get on a pose stand.

Put on the skirt, then rez a second copy of it. Move the copy to the same position as the skirt you're wearing. Then detach the one you're wearing.

You give edit rights on your stuff to the other person, and they can edit your skirt.

I have a strong urge to put him in a stew.

The problem with that though Seven, is the owner would still have to take the skirt back into inventory to attach it. Where it will go back to it's default attachment point. I think?
