I am generally not a good fiction writer, but there have been some collaborative efforts in sl that have turned out rather well. :p

If you are writing for the great unwashed then grammer (sic) etc is probably not so important. In fact, words probably aren't either. Hell, why not go the whole hog and just draw pictures.

Pep (If you are writing for the benefit of literate people then these things matter.)

Hehehehehe. I draw worse then I write. So, picture books are definately out of the question.

Pep, they pay editors to do that. they need you to have it wrong, or lots of people will be out of jobs.

Hi all, just a note to let you know I'm still alive (but very sad).

I was out of town visiting my sister for a week. Then when I got home, I had to have my cat euthanized. :(

Feeling heartbroken and lonesome whenever I come home and she isn't here.

I am so sorry :(

lol...you know, I've been reading a book series (well, two of them) by Laurell K. Hamilton.

Her editor/proofreaders are THE WORST I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! Her books are rife with spelling errors and typos.

But now I've turned it into a game to see how many I can spot. :p

oopsie...

That was painful. (yes quilty of writing and not going back to edit... unfortunately I think faster then I type.... the missing word was find.. obviously find it painful.)

Why do you stick around and read here when the grammer thing drives you nuts?

I think your real problem is that you type faster than you think.

Pep (A *lot* faster.)

I have been thru this twice with dogs in the past 5 years and once with a cat. I told my husband no more animals after the current ones because I just do not think I can go thru that too many more times. We already know that the oldest dog will probably not survive another winter or two.
:(

*hugs* to you

Really? Have you found my posts to be thoughtless? I suppose upon occasion, but not in general. I don't get all angsty over them. That is for sure.

What an excellent question, I too would like to know the answer. Perhaps, because as they say, Hope springs eternal? (that the grammar criminals will have an epiphany, and someday, all posts will be pure perfection and a joy to behold......?) Ah well, good an explanation as anything else..

Oh, Malia, I am so sorry. Our pets become such a part of our lives, joyful entertainment, a comforting presence, it's very hard to lose a beloved companion.. :(

*Hugs*
