This is so true (about singing anyway)! It always burns me up to hear children being discouraged from singing or making music... Unless you are totally tone deaf, you can learn to carry a tune, you can develop a larger range, and learn techniques of voice production.

In fact, you can learn a lot just by singing, especially in a group.
So true. Professional singers all take lessons and do vocal exercises. Very few sounded really great the first time they tried to imitate a song at age three or whatever. Michael Jackson probably did - but even he had a particularly musical family.

I just logged back in to find out I'd been wearing a big pink bow from another outfit on the back of my t-shirt for the whole evening. I went shopping with it on and everything. I can't beleive I didn't notice! :o

Why don't you give us a list, in descending order of "more hurty", including things like the embarrassment of being drunk in public, your best friend moving to get away from you, LL unilaterally taking away your main source of income, lag, missing one post you could have said "me too" to, losing your job, . . .

no list. hurty happens when it happens. it's personal and different for each person.

Night Thread - all of u who make my world so much more pleasant - thank you and sweet dreams :)

Had a lovely SL both night and day (vacay), peeps - full of fun and silliness and just all sorts of things- RL was awesome over the weekend between holiday parties and hanging out with family. So coming into SL and sharing it with u guys - it's excelent.

I feel so sad for the folks lacking in either - then i realize it is not my responsibility -
