LOL, we wondered what happened to you, but figured RL must have taken you away :)

It was great seeing you too, and I'm stunned you never met Ghosty before. Have you ever been to his gallery? That's where the photography is housed, he doesn't have the prims on that land plus, wanted to keep the garden as a relaxation area, not for commercial reasons. As you must have noticed, those sculptures were not for sale.

BTW, we particularly liked your "snowy" home. Both of us have a hankering for a winter environment in SL, and that just really made it more apparent for us.

I have heard a lot about Ghosty in the past few months, but have never met him before :)
You are a lucky gal...I love the comments he makes of you in posts...he seems like a special guy.

I don't believe I have seen his gallery, can you post an LM?

I love the snowland...you won't regret it if you decide to do the same. It is some beautiful landscape :))

That's basically it. So . . . my vacation looks like I'll be sitting around at home. heh. I was thinking of looking at all those brown sign areas nearish me. The historical significant thingies. Can't seem to find a website that mentions them, though

This site looks good.

Pep (Went for a day trip to Washington DC once; large insects in the pizza box, a pretty German girl with dubious taste in men, and a transvestite accountant featured in the subsequent blog entry.)

Wow, Ashe1, what great pics of the tour you put up on the Cartel flickr site! I'm going to try to make time to stop by a couple of the places you visited - stunning! Thank you so much for stopping by our place and for the nice comments ...

(p.s. we've been concentrating on our Seraglio in the sky lately, but for those who want the full ranch experience, a hint: if you snuggle on the hay at the corner of the bumper car barn, you get the full ranch soundscape - you can hear all the animules from there!
:)

Thanks, no problem whatsoever posting the pics, I enjoyed myself tremendously :)
The two of you have a lovely home, I will make special note of the next party you have and be sure to attend.

Lexxi, don't they have any of those Broadway Bus trips? They are usually relatively inexpensive.

I do not know. I was looking at the Broadway website. They wanted between $900 to 1900 for the hotel. 1 show came with it. I'd get another show on my own, so I could see both that interested me. Then I looked at planes. They cost between $251 and 851 (I have no idea how it could cost 851).

course the hotels are near the theaters I'm interested in, and of course that isn't per night, but for 5 nights, 180 per night at the 900 level, plus 1 show; plus 251 for plane. so $1302 for plane, hotel, 2 shows. no food or other expenses.

Thanks, that does help :) Though I was looking for one for Northern Virginia locations. Figured Washington DC would be hot and crowded July 4th weekend.

I took a takeaway pizza back to my hotel room, left it with one slice uneaten on the table while I went to a bar for a couple of beers and when I returned two hours later there were half a dozen four inch long creatures that I believe you call cockroaches (not what we recognise as pests of that name in Britain) crawling all over it. :(

Pep (Cultural difference I suppose; it wouldn't have happened here.)

PS It really disturbed the pretty German girl; I had to comfort her for hours. :D

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. I have much more time for SL today, so should be able to see some places
:)

I'll leave my treehouse open today as well so anyone is free to drop by if you couldn't make it on Sat! Might be a mess as I'm building crap today.

The event was just for Saturday and I wanted to ensure that people respected the privacy of volunteers' homes but I'm sure most would be fine if you IM'd them first to visit unless stated otherwise on the schedule .. a few stated their places were always open to the public. Notecard giver is gone from the hangout but you can still get it from the group notice history.

I'm very lucky to have met Ghosty, let alone to have things turn out as wonderfully as they did. He is, the most important relationship of my life for more reasons than I can possibly explain and not a day goes by where we don't let each other know how much we mean to each other.

I'll drop the landmark for his art gallery on you inworld when I log on :)

As for the snow, we keep talking about buying a sim together. We'll see in a few months when things stabilize inworld. Not too keen at the moment about jumping into that, all things considered around here :p

@Pep - How did the transvestite accountant come into play with that scenario?

Wow!!

I have been watching his show Pitchmen on The Discovery Channel. . . it was nice to get a inside look at the infomercial world.
He has a very recognizable face and voice.

Didn't Pep say he used to be an accountant? Or was that just John Cleese?
