/me waves from Vegas! Little over 100 degrees, not too bad, *for Vegas*. Had dinner at Gordon Bierscher's Micro Brewery. I had a drink called a drunk shark, it was rummy and coconutty and had a big gummy bear edible shark in it. Was fun.

*waves to Treasure* Hope you're having a great time! :)

Hubby and I got married in Vegas, then went and drank a "Warp Core Breach." I don't remember much after that! :D

Welcome back Kaimi! I missed you.

I wish I could do/be involved with the home tour, but I'm off on an adventure this weekend. Have a fantastic time, threadies!

Warp Core Breach...great name! I hear the Star Trek Experience was very cool when it was in Vegas.

Hope your adventure's a good one! :)

We're expecting 32 degrees C (90 F) in Britain in the next few days. That's fine as long as it's not humid too.

Wow...that's hot for Britain at this time of year, isn't it?

Big hugs to all the threadies. Sending out love to all of you at this late hour (late for me any way!) All of you... ALL of YOU... make my day brighter and my life a little lighter.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Carry on. :)

*waves to Lula*

Hope your weekend's a great one. :)

I am inworld now, waiting for the tour buses to pull up.

I visited Brenda's house - it's nice, Brenda! AND - after the warning about the bot-bed, I had to try it. I've never been ravished by a robot. Or is it "ravaged"?

.

Has the tour started????

ohhh, prolly shouldn't say so, but last evening I figured out why I was so off yesterday.

the night before I was at a friend's house and he had this beer I will not name. It tasted fine at the time but all yesterday I guess the impurities or whatever set me off my usual equlibrium.

I don't know why it took all day to figure it out. Maybe it was because i was stuck inside all day, because it wasn't until I was in the open air that it came to me.

.

I'm glad you're feeling better today, Seven. :)

Good morning everyone. Sharing a couple of pix I took last night after an enormous storm rolled through the north Jersey area. First one was taken off of my deck, as lightening was still popping up, at twilight. Second, at sunset, from just outside my front door looking down the block where the train passes by. For once, I was happy that condo complex still hasn't been built yet across the street as if allowed me a clear view to the tracks :)

Gorgeous pics, Elora! Oh the sky is amazing. :)

Thanks Mo.

How's your daddy doing? (I've been consumed with things in the real world, just finally caught up with the thread a while ago)

Better, thanks. :) Since he's feeling poorly, he wasn't keen to make a road trip; he wanted to stay close to home. So since I want to keep an eye on him, I stayed home too. :)

/me waves to Vegas from one of her Nevada gambling town sisters, to the north (i am also travelling this weekend). it's bbrrrrrrrrr c c c cold here, and all i brought was capri pants.

last night coyotes got a kill out in the meadow just away from the house here, and i could totally make out the pups howls from the adults. while dangerous, and a MAJOR threat to my cats, i so love wildlife that i marveled and wished i could see them (it was pitch black), because they are beautiful animals. a little bit later, maybe 11 pm, a HUGE bear moseyed through. we watched from the upper deck, but were close enough to see every detail of his fur, hear every sniff and grunt with his disgust at our boring garbage, and see the pads of his GIANT feet as he walked away. i didn't think to grab my camera. i hope he comes back tonight. i LOVE bears. i haven't been that close to a wild bear in a couple of years now. it was the highlight of my evening!

since we're sharing RL pics, here's a couple of the pictures of the drive over. i didn't get to drive, so it was pretty rough for me at one point, and i was too involved in my own anxiety to relax and take pics of the scary parts (cliffs on MY side) you'd think i'd be used to it by now. we drive this pass at least once a month (but usually i'm driving). i live about an hour away from these pics. i am very lucky to live the lifestyle i do. so very lucky. HEY! remember the pics i shared at Thanksgiving? we went over during a snow storm. now THAT was scary!!! (i didn't cry 'that' hard 'this' time, but there was pleading and begging involved. LOLOL)

If you think that I am picking specifically on women then you are absolutely wrong; if it appears so, then it is probably that I am responding to the increasing numbers of females who are finding semi-braveness in challenging me here in the comparative safety of a supposedly civilised and monitored environment

no one likes a sexist, Pep. i think you don't like women who you cannot manipulate. well boo. that's too bad. we won't all submit to your style of *coff* charm. and i'll tell you a little secret, just about sweet little ol me. you might think i am brave here in the forums, but i guarantee you don't want to cross me in a dark alley. it won't end pretty, and you will soon discover that chicks can be logical AND responsive at the same time, in ways you never dreamed. protect your throat, and your eyes. and, you better believe it. that's all i have to say about that.

Is it bad that the first thing I thought to say was, "Nice windlight settings!"
I don't even play with the windlight settings much and that is the first thing I thought of when I saw the pics before reading what she had written.
