Yay...I have Eddie Izzard tickets!!!!!

/me is green with envy.

I was going to catch his show in Dallas last year until I found out how much the tickets were.
We watched one of his DVDs again instead.

Hi everyone. I'm not sure how long I was gone but I'm back.
First I was pretty busy doing SL contract work. Then had a couple of head ache days - not too bad, my meds got me fairly comfortable but not too functional. Then a couple of days wrangling a grand kid. Then I'm not sure how long *muffle/mumble* playing Sims 3. Then a long time to read everything here that I missed.

It feels good to be caught up.

Here I am, and almost caught up now too :)

*laughs* Actually I am done explaining stuff to people who insist on seeing some thing that I didn't write instead of the fairly benign simple message I did.
I don't like to play there no more, they make me itch, like cooties *laughs*

lol...*waves*

would change men. Women are already perfect. For men, I think I would make them have an aversion to backward baseball caps, spitting in public, and pants they have to hold up to walk in.

I think I am going to stop trying to post coffee pics since we get breakfast already. I need to find my own nich.

And since this is Friday and most everyone has left the offices already ...

It's Beer:30 for me!

B- Beer? What did she say? (This is why women think men don't listen. They're too distracting.)

:(

soo tired. spent time in SL just standing in one spot occasionally blinking. Which briefly brought screen into focus.

/me waves from Vegas! Little over 100 degrees, not too bad, *for Vegas*. Had dinner at Gordon Bierscher's Micro Brewery. I had a drink called a drunk shark, it was rummy and coconutty and had a big gummy bear edible shark in it. Was fun.

Goodnight thread folk. Hope to see you tomorrow on the home tour - those who aren't traveling. I'll be checking out the tour too, off an on.

Hubby and I got married in Vegas, then went and drank a "Warp Core Breach." I don't remember much after that! :D

Welcome back Kaimi! I missed you.

I wish I could do/be involved with the home tour, but I'm off on an adventure this weekend. Have a fantastic time, threadies!

I've been to Las Vegas in the summer and people were always complaining about the heat but every where I went the ac was cranked so high I wore a sweater. I saw on the news that there has been a lot of very hot weather on the US map but not here along the coast. The weather here has been the usual 65-75F (averaging about 20C).

Back when I was a bartender we had manly drinks like Singapore slings and Long Island iced teas. Whenever anyone came up to me and wondered aloud,
"What should I have?" I liked to say,
"How about a zombie?" It was surprising how many people said ok.

Anyway it's great to hear that you're having a good time, Treasure.

We're expecting 32 degrees C (90 F) in Britain in the next few days. That's fine as long as it's not humid too.

About what you might expect when engaging with our Pea (Pompous Egotistical A$$hole)... What I don't get is those who keep engaging him in conversation. He's shown himself to be a misogynist of the first order over and over. I wonder how forgiving the Threadies would be if his comments were blatantly racist, instead of "just" putting down women... I have him on ignore, but people keep quoting him, and try as I might, I end up opening and reading some of his comments, usually with the kind of fascinated disgust evoked by the sight of nose picking.

Sorry, end of my little rant, guess I'll go back to lurking.

Do you have reading difficulties, Allegria? Or perhaps it's time to change the glasses if you can't tell the difference between Pea and Pep. :p

I must admit that I didn't realise that you were one of those well-balanced feminists with chips on both shoulders. If you weren't so one-eyed and intolerant and actually read my posts, you would find it obvious that I treat everyone as I find them, race, religion, sex and species being irrelevant - particularly since how am I to know whether what is professed by anybody is accurate; the number of males obviously posing as females in this thread is a case a point.

If you think that I am picking specifically on women then you are absolutely wrong; if it appears so, then it is probably that I am responding to the increasing numbers of females who are finding semi-braveness in challenging me here in the comparative safety of a supposedly civilised and monitored environment, but who then lose their sense of proportion when I point out when their responses are illogical and disproportionately emotionally unbalanced - like yours is.

Finally, if your criticism is based on my historic references to my wife, then I would suggest that you MYOBB as my relationship with her is mine to do with as I want. Of course, my comments might be entirely fictional. I hope you don't inflict the pain of watching movies like Kramer v Kramer upon yourself!

Pep (Who knows, I might actually be female myself; how would that square with your views?)
