Ever since Ray Figtree left, the quality of the hamsters in the wheel has gone down dramatically.

He posted in another thread I was watching.

I had a nice weekend. My RL was out of time, so I got a good amount of SL time. Did some landscaping. Dancing in Elf Circle, Took in a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I meant to get an SL flicker account going and actually share some pics, but that seems to be one of those things I never quite get around to.

I have a short week this week (yipee!) but a whole lot of work to accomplish in three work days (boo!) I won't be saying too much here this week.

Talk to you soon threadies.

You want to borrow my kidnap chair? That should keep you fairly secure.

What *is* a kidnap chair? I googled and looked on xstreetsl.

/me waves from his beach chair.

Don't mind me, ladies.

/me flashes a wide grin, and holds his little umbrella drink up in toast.

/me gathers up all the ladies, and we exit the water en masse. Picking up the surprised Jerboa, we carry him out to the end of the pier and toss him into the water, still chilly at the beginning of summer. As he departs for his swim, she snatches his umbrella drink, raises it in toast to the spluttering Mouse, and takes a satisfied sip.

/me spits and sputter out salt water as he drags his bedraggled frame back to dry land

Hey! That's an 8 dollar drink!

You can't do this until you post a pic of you in cutoffs. *evil grin*

I know what you mean about the smile, Marianne, but you always look great.

It's funny that SL makes you smile AFTER you take a picture! I always waste shots trying to catch the smile. There is this moment right when the mouth closes and the corners of the mouth are still up that is perfect.

.

Thank you Seven! I am not as good as many others on Flickr, but I'm not bad either ;)

You know there are free facial animators that let you have a fixed smile? Not something to wear around, but good for pictures. The “smile” shape I made, tries to wrestle the SL smile into something better. I changed the eye opening and the mouth corners. My ordinary shape has eye opening 35 % and my smile shape the double, some in between 75 and 80 %. The mouth corners point slightly up on my ordinary shape, and slightly down on my smile shape. That way, the eyes don’t close so much and the mouth looks the way I want it to look. It’s not good to wear prim lashes; the eye opening is still a bit distorted.

Soooo....

Husband just called me. He arrived home and after greeting dogs and putting stuff down he heard a light call of, "..excuse me... excuse me.." My mom had fallen at some point and was laying behind the sofa table where she had dragged her self trying to get up. My mom is 86 - she slipped on some water and ouch! - I don't know how long she was down there :( Fortunately he did come home or gosh the poor thing! She isn't hurt other than a bruised knee but she is really ouching :( Poor mommy. I think i need to get one of those 'help i've fallen' thingies -

Definately if she will wear one. My mother is only 66 but has some arthritis and knee problems that make it very difficult for her to get up if she falls. She has one.

Oh it's good to hear that she's ok! I can relate to that, I have close relatives that live very far away. Sometimes I think about scenarios like that...

I am so glad your husband came home, and that your mom is, thank goodness, OK.

Yes, one of those alert thingies would be a good idea!!!
