I just want to wrap her up in cotton whenever I leave.

I would use bubble wrap.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of hunting?
and your point would be? :D

The organizers don't actually call this a hunt, though one or two of the vendors did use that term. The organizers simply call the event "Vendor Support Month". There does not seem to be an item to find in any of the stores -- just a normal display that you shows the item and you buy it for L$10.

The love story of Ralph and Edna...

Ralph and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool. Ralph suddenly jumped into the deep end.

He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there.

Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled him out. When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, 'Edna, I have good news and bad news . The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of the person you love. I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness.

The bad news is, Ralph hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead.'

Edna replied, 'He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?'

If she'll use it. My mother was too stubborn for it.

One day she called me at work and said she had fallen down the three steps to the den (which had a tiled floor over very hard concrete) and had hit her head. I came rushing home, found her lying with her head in a pool of gray and cream convoluted glop!! She was squinting up at me with her one good eye and talking about how she felt stupid for falling. It was like a scene out of horror movie -- I think I was in shock, wondering how she could be talking to me with her brains all out on the floor.

Hands shaking I started to call 911, but then she was telling me about how she was trying to carry a bowl of chicken soup and forgot to use the handrails . . . She had landed with her head in the puddle of soup. When I found out she wasn't at death's door, I could have killed her anyway!

Hard as it was for a not very nurturing guy, I will never regret the time I spent as her caregiver - and especially that crazy moment.

I'm glad your mom is relatively unharmed. Cherise her.

OMG!! You owe me a new monitor.

I'm so glad your mom was okay, relatively speaking.

The winter my parents moved from their 5-BR colonial to a one-floor apartment? It was the best winter I'd had in years. No more worrying about my dad shuffling down the driveway on the ice to retrieve the newspaper!!

Well, I happen to really like capri's. They make ladies look fun and carefree.
__________

I totally forgot about the cutoffs thing. I wouldn't be caught dead in shorts myself, but I was able to talk my alt into it. What the heck -- it's still Monday somewhere.

Usually my alt is a proper courteous 19th century gentleman.

But I persuaded him to lose his decorum and get in touch with the 21st century just this once.

And now it way past time for my real life persona to get some beauty rest, though I'm afraid 1000 years wouldn't be enough. Good night all. Thanks for sharing all the pics.

So far behind (don't ask) that I am going in a backward direction.

And good morning, Threadies. :)

I found today's breakfast in Greece, at a hotel in Santorini:
