From: Oryx Tempel Grrr. Someone made an offer on our favorite house this morning - we were probably going to make one tomorrow. Back to square one. The realtor says that everyone wants to move in the summer, when kids are out of school. Sorry to hear that Oryx, it's an age old story; having a home go before you bid on it or, having someone underbid you too. I can't tell you how many homes my ex and I looked at and contemplated before we finally got the one we had. Can be a very discouraging time along with the excitement of imagining yourself in the "perfect home". Let alone, in this economic climate, I bet homes which are priced correctly are being scooped up very fast, between the pricing and it being (almost) summer which is the best time to get kids situated (nobody want to purposely move a child in the middle of the school year). However, there always is another one, and what we found is that in the end, the one we bought turned out to be the exact "perfect" home for us, at that time. I'm sure it will work out, things usually do - who knows? I bet that was the house with the neighbors griefing you the moment you stepped over the threashold

Another pic from my vacation. This one was taken just cuz the shot looked really cool. Taken from the top floor of our hotel in Madrid, looking down onto the center restaurant.

He used to have some on his Flickr page but I believe they were removed due to concerns about possible copyright infringement, since he is in the process of possibly moving them into a RL application as well. There are some pix here and there on my Flickr page, but few and far between as well, no closeups for the same reason.

I don't exactly know because I'm extremely busy in RL. The other thing is that my hardware isn't supporting the WindLight features... I got good laptop running okay on WoW and other stuff.... About the Flickr thing: I don't have plenty of photos but they still exist on my Flickr page... Man, I feel weaker and all I could do was get on the forums tonight... my signature proves it. Good night everyone, hope to see you all tomorrow

It's morning for me anyway. So I say good morning to you! I wonder if I should change my profile picture. I really like this skin from LAQ that I use now, but I have TULI's groupgift unopened in my inventory... I change looks so often that I should have an abstract profile pic! I have tried to get a SLsmile that I really like for months. I wish they would update their terrible facial expressions. I've made a "smile-shape" with much bigger eyeopenings and that's worked ok... sort of. I've tried "play slow animations" and other tricks... trying to capture a smile without eyes closing. I just gave up and used 2 pictures, one where I smile and one without a smile, and cut out and pasted the smile on the second pic. I like it even if it's a fake. It's impossible to smile in SL with relaxed eyes.

G'mornin an g'night everybuggy! Hope ya'll had a super weekend! My weekend started on Friday, with th' last day of school f'r the semester! Yay! We had class, th' last folks did their projects, then we went an watched a soccer game between HardKnock Elementary and Willowdale Elementary. Go Panthers. Later that night, I also made a stop by the Oatmeal sims, and checked to make sure I was age verified. Well, I mean I already knew I was, and had been in the Oatmeal sims back on Aditi. Anyway, ya, I still am. Which is kinda ironic -- an not in that "rain on your wedding day" from that song sort of way. Saturday was graduation from HKE. Well, we have a graduation ceremony every year. This is my third graduation with honors at HKE. Yay! Thank's to my friend Krystal for takin' this piccie, cuz it ended up too laggy an I list my own piccie. 's funny, cuz I remember back in 2006 when people saw the original one-room school an said "no one would ever wanna do this. Three years later, about 60 kids graduated from HKE. Here's the group from the evening graduation ceremony. Kids from all over! We finished the night with fireworks at Livingtree -- the first of the year! Whee! Then Sunday I went to the Final show at the Refuge. Kelvinblue Oh was performing, and we were all donating to a good cause by buying RL cattle and fowl an stuff. Sad to see that sim go, but I also know that AM will do other wonderful things. One last thing: the Bay City Info Hub is still being built, so I spent a lot of time watching it be built. I'm planning on doing a video of it being built when it's all done. It already is looking amazing. I suggest making a stop by the Hau Koda sim an checking it out while you still can. There are a lot of tdetails the moles are puttin in. You can rez by the airship mooring, BTW. An that's th' weekend. Hope ya'll have a super week!

Finally bought some hair! I went to Zero Style. Also found a pair of unruly girls with ears and tails and amazingly lovely avatars. I tried to take their pictures, but they wouldn't stand still, and I couldn't talk to them 'cause they wouldn't shut up! So this is me in my new hair and a knit dress in front of a quilt on Caravane City Quilt Village. (Skin and shape are still the same.) http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caravane/105/5/26/

From: Pserendipity Daniels But surely you have absolutely no need to be age verified, Marianne. I don't no, but I've still managed to find myself heavily involved in the discussions, given a somewhat long history of involvement over the Sexual Ageplay issues. Besides, I actually do wanna see the mole builds before everyone moves in. I never did bother with the Aristotle verification because aside from concerns about the quality of service, there was nothing I'd be missing out on. Beings it's PIOF and PIU inclusive now, it seemed that I may as well give it a shot. From: someone Are you doing something that requires it, that you are not telling us about? Many of the activities that one would do in an adult verified parcel with a child avatar would either be way too gross for me to want to do or would otherwise result in account termination regardless of verified status. FWIW, the player on the other side of my screen finds the idea of dirty pixel stuff kinda boring. She much prefers that in a non-computer assisted (and well away from her SL avatar, please!) form. Mari

Not that I have any interest, either... just a funny phrase. .

@ Mari: Yay!!! Another busy SL weekend, so a great Mari Weekend Update. Congrats on your graduation! Still kicking myself that I missed the fireworks Saturday night, but I'm comforted by the fact that there will be plenty of opportunities to view them this summer! Glad the concert went well; lol, I noticed it was happening *just* after it concluded. Good idea to go check out the building of the Infohub!
