Again, I'm not welcome in one place and people have to apologize for accepting me.

You have to post LOLCATs to be welcomed in this thread, Yumi!

No, NJ isn't exactly a paradise either but we are the Garden State (or so they keep telling us).
Any place that produced Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and Brenda Connolly is ok with me. And I've heard there really are some lovely parts of the state. To tell the truth It's a bit too cold for me here sometimes.

The weather is, generally, horrible. Much like a lot of northern US, of course. Putting the dreary aside, the BC/Vancouver area seems to be the most moderate weather we can muster.
And I've seen beautiful pictures... but no, I froze in Oregon in August.

And most of the posts are just telling me to deal with the situation. Not changing it.

Internet forums (especially this one) aren't really the place to find help.

Have you considered counseling or medication?

Add Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, Count Baise, Abbott and Costello, James Fenimore Cooper, Joe Theismann, Admiral Bull Halsey among others.

... but remember, I'm a product of The City of New York even if i have fully embraced The Garden State. But I accept the compliment with great appreciation.

Awwwww...now Elora, Canada really is a nice place...well, the West Coast anyway. Lush, green and almost tropical.... ummm...well...we did have a wee tiny bit of snow around Christmas but it's almost all melted now.:D

And we've modernized a bit more now than say last year - igloos were declared unsafe and OOO... we got a traffic light system...AND.....AND... we got a Starbucks... (nods)... yep....

As far as I'm concerned Canada is tied with England for producing some of the best musicians on the Planet. Loreena McKinnett, Neil Peart, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Gordon Lightfoot, Miriador, the list is long and varied. Not like my area where the musicians walk around in (completely out of context and unauthentic) cowboy hats and foster fake southern accents.

However there would have to be a lot more global warming before I would be willing to move there, and even then I don't think I could stand the too short days in winter.

But do keep the musicians and the culture coming.

Again.. they can.. they can not:
* be posting about how helping me is fruitless and a waste of time.
* constantly be telling me I shouldn't expect to succeed at anything, ever.
* be playfully joking at each other about my behaviour.
* have people apologize or regret even joining a thread I'm in.

Those experiences have changed me.

yah, I didn't like how people were talking about you in this thread.

hehehehe. I got to meet Lexxi this weekend and show her around my place a bit. She is sure a cutie neko. Fun person to be around.

I accidently stole your boat. I was showing Mistress your place, and Mistress got onto one of the pillows on the boat. I went to join her and somehow ended up behind the wheel . . um no wheel, next to that stick thing on the boat. We started sailing away. I tried to put the boat back, but I do not think it is in same spot now.

Hehehehe don't worry about it. I have it set where anyone can drive off with it. It is copiable. So even if it gets lost for a long time I can pull another out of inventory. Take anytime you want and don't even worry about driving home.

Gordon Lightfoot!!!!! :)

The longest song on the planet: "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." I'm seriously considering removing it from my iPod.

You have an IPod? Geek.

Besides, "Edmund" isn't the longest song in the world. That honor falls to any and every song recorded by Celine Deion

Celine Demon is Canadian?

Ok, well BESIDES her, they have great musicians.

I agree, "Edmund Fitzgerald" is a bit repetitive, but I like its narrative quality. Try "Beautiful" if you're in that 70's ballad mood.

(Okay, I'll stop with the music now. I can get tedious if you get me started.)

Honestly, I don't know who'd listen to her...but someone does.... maybe we could get her to move to Wales... the Welsh can have her... I think the people of Canada might even pay them to take her and her horrible nasal rantings...
