I have trouble hearing certain frequencies, some in the human talking range (and oddly can hear sounds higher than normal).

Lexxi, being deaf myself (late deafened, lost my hearing after adulthood) I can understand your concern, even fear. Although I am no audiologist, I have enough experience, both personal, and leading groups of people with hearing loss, to believe that what you may be experiencing is 'reverse curve' hearing loss. It's quite rare actually. Usually, people lose hearing in the speech and high frequency ranges, but you are doing the opposite. I know 2 people, in all my internet travels with hearing loss groups, that have reverse curve loss. Best way to know for sure of course is to have it tested. I hope you do that, because there are plenty of ways to help hearing loss, especially when it's just now starting to bug you. Contact me anytime Lexxi if you want to chat about this. Oh what an awesome idea! I have a bunch of pix I took of me in this lingerie, and they are all rather kitschy because the undies are from the 1950's. It would be interesting to reshoot it if I put on an anime skin...which I may even have tucked somewhere in my inventory, make me into some kind of character (as if I'm not already lol). But it really is a very cool thought, and I may just have to do some thinking on this.
