They are VERY expensive, in the range of L$5000 to L$8000. And I don't understand why there is such a large price variation. Nothing I saw indicated that some of the dogs had more features than others.

so I guess the more expensive ones just means that breed sold better historically?

For that price I thought maybe these were the server run AV type, but it says they can wind up in your Lost and Found, so I guess they're an object. Which means it'll get stuck at alot of border crossings. :(

well... considering a conversation I had in world... derailment of sorts: Furry!

Question : Why are you a furry?

Simple answer : honesty & emotional connections.

Long answer : Animals tend to be a bit more honest with themselves and others. A fox isn't going to pretend to be something it isn't to fit in with swine. Plus there is the totem aspect of being a furry, similar to how many so called privative people find an animal that they admire and seek to emulate. There is also the closeness of the community, it's got it's ups and downs too... but furies tend to be more sensual in nature when they interact. It's not uncommon for a furry to give a hug or snuggle to someone just because the seemed down, common greetings quite often involve touching.

Interesting perspective - my only non-human like avatar is a dragon (Grendels) whenever I wear it all I feel is like eating people, same as always ;)

One other thing is the furry community tends to be far more accepting of differences and nonjudgmental of others. You get some that are a bit jaded from the amount of grief and stereotyping they suffer (hey you get different reasons for being furry from every fur)

They don't judge folks for wanting to wear certain clothing, gender preferences, sexual fetishes, etc

I've noticed this too.

In fact, I tend to find myself hanging out with Furries because of the "love" they tend to share.

Besides, humans make funny noob targets.
