BTW: considering the great fun this thread has proven to be, the Keepers of the Thread group has been underwhelming....

and yea that's a plug, but I'm not in any position of power there.

I have tried group chat a few times, and the echo of my own pixel voice was all I got. Anyway, today when I posted the XPOD I immediately went and announced it in KotT group chat. Hey, the charter promised us ... heady banter... or some such thing. I'll be happy to banter headily if the opporunity arises.

That's a TERRIBLE policy. So the price goes up each time they sell a dog? That's the worst sort of consumer gouging I've ever heard of. VKC will not be getting my business.

It'll work just be fine as long as the price also goes DOWN for slow moving products. That way the market really will determine the price, as it should be.

If they simply raise the asking price after each sale, then all they'll accomplish is to find their own level of failure.

I dont' intend to keep track of who-n-how much, you'll need to be responsible for making good on your own pledge, but I DO think that having a running total will be motivating.

We're up to $2500L.

If anyone wishes to volunteer to organize this better, I'll surrender the reins.

I love the Thread, but have felt no need to join the group. We have the Forum Cartel group for in-world chitchat...I don't need another one. The KOT group might be fun for a conversation piece ("What's THAT all about, anyway?";), but I don't see much other value in it. Just my take on it.
