Thanks, Amara...has anyone heard of/used this viewer?

Don't use this viewer unless you intend to copy a bunch of missing .dll files from an LL viewer. When missing the client falls back on some really slow, buggy alternatives.

Hey Trout, nice to see you on this side of the street. Happy birthday! It was nice seeing you and Oryx in-world Friday night. Kinda felt like bumping into a mythical creature.. :p

I'm at work too this morning, almost swam in to work. The only saving grace was the light traffic because of the holiday. Thanks everyone who made it to the Mardi Gras bash. It was great fun, and everyone looked fabulous!

That was really fun! We were both surprised when you guys walked in. I rarely see anyone I know just wandering around SL outside of the obvious places like the Hangout.

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes!

Stage 2 of the Tour of California, began today with a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge, in the rain, from Sausalito to San Francisco. It then continued, still in rain, south along scenic coastal Route 1, with side trips inland to climb two mountins.

A group of 10 riders managed to form up, out ahead of the peleton, early on and led by as much a 5 minutes for much of the race.

With 17 miles to go to the finish line at Santa Cruz, Levi Leipheimer put in a massive attack at the base of the final climb, and slowly picked off the remnants of the day's early breakaway. One of those breakaway riders, Tom Peterson, was able to grab onto Levi's wheel as he went past.

Levi, a two time winner of the Tour and a favorite to win this year, with Lance Armstrong (and some other big names) working as his domestiques, was interested only in gaining back the time he lost to yesterday's winner Francisco Mancebo. He did all the work pulling Peterson to the top and allowing him to launch from Levi's slip stream at the end and cross the line first.

Levi crossed moments later in second place and back into the yellow jersey of the overall Tour leader.

The stage was 116miles 187k.

/me sits listening in rapt attention

Thank you so much Kaimi. Cycling is something I dearly love, although I don't ride much myself.

Best bogus story ever:

Some time ago, a former roommate worked at an architect firm which had its own interior design division. The head of that division was an amazing dresser who looked incredible every day, and as she was a representative of the firm's cutting edge designs and sense of style, she felt she needed to always look the part.

HOWEVER, one day, the designer called in on a Monday morning, with this excuse:

"There are ants in my steam iron, so I cannot iron anything to wear to work today. Therefore, I have nothing to wear, and I will not be at work."

This one is now used as code for "I am blowing off work today since I really don't want to be there."

Feel free to use it, Honey. :p

For all of you needing an excuse from work, I thought Jerboa's idea was great...sounds so horrible, the boss wouldn't want to know what that is :)

Mornin' Spike....what's up?
