You know, Ashe if you don't let your cup empty you can still count it as one cup. :)

That little toast holder always makes me think of the British Isles and Ireland.

Yes, they make it look so proper, don't they. Wish we were more so, me....I just stack the toast after buttering each slice on one plate, cut it and toss it in the middle of the table :D

Um...you just discovered a jerboa infestation in your basement? :D

It has the merit of having never been tried....

Ooooh, I like it. But then I'd have to explain what a jerboa is, and why I have a basement in Texas...

The toast rack only comes out when we have company and sit at the table to eat. Otherwise, I just grab the toast and go lol. Sometimes I dont even bother with a plate if I'm in a rush!

Best bogus story ever:

Some time ago, a former roommate worked at an architect firm which had its own interior design division. The head of that division was an amazing dresser who looked incredible every day, and as she was a representative of the firm's cutting edge designs and sense of style, she felt she needed to always look the part.

HOWEVER, one day, the designer called in on a Monday morning, with this excuse:

"There are ants in my steam iron, so I cannot iron anything to wear to work today. Therefore, I have nothing to wear, and I will not be at work."

This one is now used as code for "I am blowing off work today since I really don't want to be there."

Feel free to use it, Honey. :p

ROFL...now that's great!! (I get ants in my coffeemaker...drives me insane)

You might try to use that someday. Who wants an employee at the office who hasn't had coffee yet? lol

Oddly, in our neighborhood, we don't get a lot of dillos. Possum, oh yeah, and those suckers are vicious.

Raccoons are dangerous animals. I mean they look all nice and cute and furry... but watch out for them. I like to call them the Flying Furry Fangbeasts of the wild :D

Those toast racks always puzzle me. Why do they want to make the toast get cold faster?
