Speaking of skins. Ok, so here I am, not really in SL as of late and yesterday I decided to go try and get the La Sylphphide freebie skin at their lucky chair. For anyone not familiar with these skins, they are the bomb. I have one which was a free gift and I get compliments on it all the time.
Anyway, I log on and was having major issues last night. Finally, after nearly an hour of having to log on and off, not rezzing right, etc. the chair calls my letter. I hop in, get my skin! Woohoo! Go back to my house to try it on. It's NOWHERE in my inventory. GRRRRR! Realizes suddenly one of the reasons I left SL temporarily and went off to make dinner, quite annoyed. And now of course, I still have to go back and do it all over again _____________________

Yes, I was being sarcastic   I wasn't. For the last couple days I've been really trying to figure out why I come here. I know I started posting here originally to give a kids' perspective during some of the worst threads way-back-when, an found I liked some of the personalities of the forum. I've tried to pitch in when I can an help people too. but lately? well, I jes dun see the point. I like silliness, but it feels like it's all silliness. What am I missing here? We have some nasty weather coming our way starting tomorrow too. I'm okay, and home safely, thanks everyone! I'm so grateful for the hugs.  My insurance company is telling me that my 18 year old car isn't worth the amount it will cost to repair. Poor car. It doesn't deserve a junkyard death. _____________________
