I'm so glad I'm not a kid. Though I miss the long breaks. Ya, I'd much rather have th' three months of not havin' to go to th' borin place in th' real world! An well, it's funny, cuz all us kids are going to HardKnock Academy by choice, even payin' f'r the experience. Never gonna see dat in th' real world! Good morning everyone!
I got into work very early today. I'm living at home with no TV or internet access for a few days since I just moved and they won't be coming for the hook-up until Wednesday. Woke up ridiculously early and figured I may as well just get on the train and head into work and catch up on what I've missing in SL, at the very least. Went over to the Hair Fair where I left off on Saturday before I had to let go of my service and lag was surprising low. Of course, they recommend that you discard everything possible on yourself, so here I am not drying my hair, but drying the paint on my skin   _____________________

OK guys listen up! I'm hoping to plan a party for the 6th Sept for my Housewarming/Welcome back to SL/Happy Rezday celebrations. Gonna be on my land, I'm gonna sort out a DJ etc, and I'm hoping you rabbel can make it. I'll send out more deets as I sort them, and I'll send a notice for folks who dont go in this thread. Can anyone see any major problems with the date? I don't want to go and cut in on someone else's party. It's a Saturday, and is most likely gonna start early so that I can actually spend a decent amount of time at my own party lol. I'm glad I thought to read back thru the weekend. This sounds good to me and I'm putting it into my calendar _____________________

Someone suggested this somewhere so I can't take credit for it, but if Hair Fair and the like, require such stringent Avatar choices and are going to be so laggish, why not just hold them on a 2d website that you can browse at your leisure, offline even?

Kind of frightening  What's bumming me out at the moment is the Democratic convention starts tonight and I can't think of a single place to go watch it in my neighborhood. I quess I could go sit in a bar somewhere, but somehow I don't think I'm a) going to hear it very well and b) my area, I suspect, is abit more Republican and may not even have it turned on _____________________
