It requires a Linden to force teleport you there (or, persumably, being a Linden to directly TP there). It is now a private, closed estate. I s'pect you could beg a Linden to send you there, but I also know that it's really only the Lindens who've been around who even know what it is. They no longer send troublemakers there, nor have they for a very long time. From what Blue said, it was at once time its own grid of sorts, much like how the teen grid works. This was how it would "cut you off" from main grid communication. It no longer works like that. It was cool to visit an stuff, even into our second hour of playing with our gesture collections.  Oh, an Force Teleporting is being discussed elsewhere on the forums right now. It is a Linden "power" where they can teleport you without a blue box acceptance (you just go). It also allows them to pull you into places you would not otherwise be allowed into (like group only parcels and stuff). Yesterday was the second time I've been Force Teleported, an for more fun reasons all around. Mari very cool history lesson. |

I've searched the Thread, I've searched SLexchange... I will have to rely on someone with a better memory or better shopping skills. A few days ago, I think, someone posted a link to sexy coveralls (the bib overall type.) I really liked them, but didn't note the link at the time, and now, of course, can't find them. Does anyone remember the product? series of hardware failures. Everything with a fan in it that could die did. So I unexpectedly built a new machine. For the techie types here, I had next to no budget so I gambled on a mobo with an *integrated* Geforce7100. I'm pleasantly surprised. It won't set any records, but it does 50fps with everything on low, or a comfortable 30fps with basic shaders on (atmo off) and most details at medium. I can set everything on high and watch a very pretty slide show. YAY! i'm going to strip down and revamp in late Fall, so i'd love to hear more about your parts.  |

i was sent on a wild goose thread-reading chase (you know, the kind where one thread leads to another thread which leads to another thread (from 2005 no less), {to quote Wille Wonka "etc etc etc"}), which ended in my uneventful surmation that Lordfly does not like Pleasure because (saw lots of boring predictions about SL economy [nothing ever changes LOL]).... and then i gave up. saw alot of old names though. |
