Morning Threadies. :)

Haven't finished my coffee yet, so I'm not up for kicking butt and taking names, Amara.

Here's a bit of trivia for you: Records being released to the public from the National Archives indicate that Julia Child (among many others) was a spy for the OSS (precursor to the CIA).

Can you imagine? Julia, the chicken, and a wickedly sharp knife.... looming over the hapless interrogee...

Um is that skin sale still going on? I meant to go right over there and get some to use for fashion modeling but um... when was that anyway? If it's not too late could someone give me the link again...?
Nora BodySkins & Fashions - officially closes Aug 18 and all skins are L$100 until then.

Some really nice fantasy skins there. I like the lack of excessive shading with these skins. They look better in Windlight, IMHO.

I know!!! I remember hearing about that some time ago - she worked here in DC during her stint with OSS before going overseas to, I think it was Ceylon (Sri Lanka), I think that's where she met her husband, who was also in the OSS.

Of course, when you mentioned Julia, a chicken, and a sharp knife, all that came to mind was the Saturday Night Live sketch with Dan Akroyd...

Which skin sale? The one for the going out of business in a week place? Or somewhere else? The one going out of business in a week (that's a sign up in the window) is Nora's Bodyskins (or something like that). 100L per skin. Unfortunately I'm at work and do not have a LM with me. There is a blog somewhere that has a link, but I do not have a link to that blog.

(I need to stop opening multiple threads and work down them. End up replying to something 10 minutes after I have opened the thread - ten minutes when others have replied, but that I do not see because I didn't refresh the thread before I posted).

What, the 9.9? That has been in the sig line for a while. The "You are mine"? That's from my Mistress. Probably need to indicate that. I used to have a seperation there so it was not confusing.

It's messed up. I think it is randomly giving answers. Heck, I chose classical music, and they didn't give me one that mentioned that. I do not have a problem with women, but I can see where the quiz might think that was what I was implying when I mentioned killing women. Nor would I want to kill them in the shower. They are already naked. I don't want them already naked. I want to claw off their clothing. Stare at them with only my glowing cat eyes visible. A knife would dart out and . . flick, shirt cut open. Flick, bra band severed. Breasts heave, still slightly covered by the cut open shirt and dangling bra. Lightening flash. Darting forward claws reflect the light as I run my claws along their skin, leaving painful, bleeding marks on their breasts (ever been clawed by a cat? even shallow fade by tomorrow cuts are painful).

You people are actually arguing over which psychotic maniac you get to be?

...this place is soooo awesome!

I had not seen the 9.9 -

About your Mistress I knew of course - such a sweet sentiment :)

Mornin' thread!

Guess where I was yesterday?

I thought this place was gone now - or did you recreate it?

That was great! I almost like shopping when it's this easy. Nora's skins on sale are just what I needed. And all in one place! I just bought a ton of them in about 5 minutes. Thank you LittleMe and Lexxi for helping me find them. :)

Not a recreation. It was mothballed, but recently reappeared. Not even Blue knows the story why it has returned.

How does one get there to take a peek? I would love to say I had actually been there - just once. I have the corn from there but it is not the same.

They prolly needed to bring it back so they would have a place to put Jumpy when he stirs things up again.
