We know where about 200 posts went. I wonder is someone isn't cleaning up some of the posts that had links to rather questionable pics and such.

Hi Oryx -

I like your daily updates, as well as the commentaries on the single medal countries. Thanks for providing this every day. :)

For some reason, I haven't been able to watch much of the Games this time around. Hence, I value your updates, and also, it's been fun to read people's thoughts (oooh...mind control...oooh) on what's been going on there.

Wow, Mari! That cornfield looks both very cool and...ominous...

I have no idea where that is, though...and who was on the b/w tv monitor? It looked like an episode from the original "Star Trek" or from "The Twilight Zone"...

Of course this is THE Ivanova Clip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXyDi_91UXw

Wow- chills -

I have the spinoff series, Crusade - this made me want to go get the Babylon one again (they are bookmarked in Amazon as something I want to get at some point). One I liked of hers too was one where Ivanonva uses the phrase Hour of the Wolf- I don't recall the episode much but that really struck me.

LOL! Well, according to the place I found that pic, they are mugs of cappuccino. However, I am sure they could be Irish coffees! Enjoy! :)

If I ate even half that in a day, I doubt I would be able to *move*, let alone swim. And didn't 'they' always tells you never to swim right after a meal?

What is really odd is that it shows as a "higher" post number for some people than for me. I do not have anyone on my ignore list, so that cannot be attributing to me seeing it as a lower post number (though I don't think ignore works that way anyway).

I like seeing it.

An interesting note I heard this morning, which some who know a lot about the swimming might already know -- I always thought the shower after an event was to wash off the chlorine, but apparently it is to keep the body warm and slowly cool it to room temperature, which is quite often cooler than the water temp.
