I absolutely hate RL shopping, but I think I would take it over bears, coyotes, and even swamp alligators.

Crazy weekend! Just wanted to pop in and say Happy Monday! I don't know if I even want to think about going thru all the posts I missed. So, here I am! LOL
Hi Katelicious! I love your name.

Yeah I know lots of people who love it. Thankfully my husband likes it more than I do and is willing to do most of ours.

Nah don't bother- If you sit here long enough the posts just come back up and around- currently we are rolling half naked thru a field of flowers with kitties dancing on our heads and watching the Olympics while we try and talk FD out being grumpy- I think Alan Sandler is redoing Interview with a Vampire but then again he may have been spotted building in SL. Something like that..

we watched the gymnastics last night. i guess there's quite a bit of controversy surrounding the 'actual' ages of some of the Chinese gymnists. it is required that you be 16 in order to compete, and some of the girls were reported to be as young as 12, and they certainly looked it.
They did look very young compared to the European gymnasts. But my doctor is ethnic Chineese and she always looked 12 years old to me until she started to get gray hair.

Kaimi, HI! so glad you're back. I see from your pics you visited the Self Realization Fellowship Park? Is that where the lovely white arch is?

You recognized it! Yes it's at Lake ShrineI was at the SRF convocation and I got to go over there.

coyotes are harmless. just say BOO and they run. Bears.... don't run from... be big and loud and they saunter off (but have a gun in your pocket, just in case).

Not always. When we first moved into our house, my wife was loading cookies and candy she had made as Christmas gifts into her car and felt something brush against her leg. Thinking it was her dog, she tried to push him away with her foot. The coyote didn't like it and bit her on the leg.

 she clearly didn't say BOO!

was it rabid? most coyotes will run from humans, especially if the human tries to scare it.

It didn't break the skin, only bruised it. So the doctors at her work said she didn't need the shots. It was probably after all the sweets she was loading in the car.

that's really scary. i live amongst coyotes, and they won't even come on my porch to steal food because they smell the human scent that's been left behind. doesn't stop them from stalking my wild critters out in the yard though. :(

Good morning Threadies! I went to Seattle for the first time since 1995, which was for a Grateful Dead show.

It's a beautiful city! We did the Underground Tour, ate fish & chips by the ocean, threw french fries at seagulls, went window shopping, walked through Pike Place Market, drank martinis, etc. What a lovely day, and with no rain! We considered buying one of the 36 new penthouse apartments at the Four Seasons hotel, but, meh, I left my checkbook at home. At any rate, whee! :)

and you didnt even stop by and say hi :(

BTW:Crimson and Clover Tommy James and the Shondels (sigh)

confused accordign to billboard the above song was number 1 on my bday, but when i use Ann's link(Happy Rezz Day!), it says: .. "Harper Valley P.T.A." by Jeannie C. Riley.... arooo?
