Voice Chat Can Really Kill the Mood on WoW

This was probably right after they requested people to mail in to be part of the beta and before the link leaked all over for everyone to join.

Then there's the easy observation of how so many people use Skype. It doesn't take a genius to realize you could tie that into the client and add more features for it so people don't have to go elsewhere to fulfill that particular need.

People began discussing the pros and cons of audiochat. Then some weird british calling americans yanks thing showed up and something about irish limeys, and next thing ya know the thread has been hijacked by some discussion on international relations and perceptions of such relations. Before the thread gets locked, take the international relations thread to the CNN forums. VOICECHAT! IT SUCKS! Doesnt matter what country your from.

Oh most certainly. Every schmuck running for office spends millions telling you why you shouldn't vote for the other guy. But they never get around to telling us why we should vote for them.

winter, this is not brits calling the yanks anything at all. this is merely the suggestion that americans should be aware that their american voice may attract a vocal element of the anti-usa smog that has covered the globe for the last five years. the direction this thread has taken only serves to underscore the reality that too many americans get too patriotic too quickly, and cannot resist the urge to attack anyone that doesnt wrap themselves in the american flag.
