I don't voice on SL cause I only have one headset and it's hooked up to my other comp because that's where Vent is and I'm on that a lot. It's not worth my time to moving it because I prefer typing in SL anyway and I don't really care who thinks what about my gender.

I've sat back for a while to hear you selfish people whine about voice. You say voice will discriminate against people who text. Yet i never heard that when faced with a bunch of people who text, is the same discrimination possible(yes). Discrimination is a strange beast... and it really means intelligent choice... and it is often used to show that one is going against another... Discrimination against those who text, against those who speak, against those who are not able to speak - I know one in SL... so now what? Please... people who use that word do not understand it at all... including the law makers. |

With the new laws just signed by President Bush you can bet that LL are going to be forced into allowing government access to the data stream. So don't expect you voice chat to be totally private. Somewhere someone may be listening. Or even worse, the whole thing is being recorded somewhere. I don't want to speak for anyone else here) disagree with you because you are so WRONG so much of the time. In other words, it's not because I like Brenda and Colette that I argue with you.
