First, let me say that they will have to pry this forum, these people, this history from my cold, dead fingers.
[Of course, they can do that in the blink of an eye!] So my last post will probably be something about graphics cards Second let me say a big thank you *THANK YOU* to you all, including the newbies who wander through, for teaching me, reading me, and making SL real when I'm not there. I feel surrounded by a warm gossiping group of friends here, I see you all getting coffee and schlepping around work or home, and these Forums have improved my SL immensely. Thank you! If I'm the last one left, I'll turn out the lights. But I hope you all stay here with me, until LL boots us out forcibly. And I wouldn't be surprised to find myself causing one helluva stink when they do. |

As more of a lurker more than a poster... I'd like to say that I'm going to really miss this forum. I have laughed out loud so many times from reading RA...and love the many different sense of humors displayed in this forum. Most of all...I have also learned many, many valuable tips about SL that I could never find in SL Help.
Hopefully this will not go away soon...what am I going to read and laugh at during my breaks at work? _____________________

I haven't posted much here in recent months but I think it's truly a shame that LL has let this vibrant forum and its treasure trove of information, tutorials, tips, drama, and community wither on the vine. What a resource to just throw away in favor of a new format that's nowhere near as useful, and will likely never come close to duplicating what has come before it. I think it's a huge mistake. We don't need new a new shiny blog/forum/wiki hybrid. All we needed was a bloody update to a more recent version of vbulletin.
That said, thanks to all the excellent posters here for many years of thoughtful and not so thoughtful debate, incredibly useful information, drama, friendship, and a great deal of laughter. In my years in SL I've spent more time on these forums than actually in world. It will be missed. I guess all good things must come to an end. _____________________

half my time on these forums has been arguing for people to have a SL as they see fit. So for my last post... I'll just post this and hope we see more of these clarifications in the face of other ignorances and prejudices.
9) Are child avatars allowed on Adult land? Child avatars are allowed on adult land as long as they are account verified like any other Resident. Those choosing to represent themselves with a child avatar do not represent a minor as the account holder. Not all adult land is going to be hosting adult content either. There is plenty of protected land on Zindra that will technically be adult but safe in terms of content. This however does not change any prior policies regarding child avatars. Sexual ageplay is not allowed anywhere on the grid, regardless of rating. _____________________
