My last post will likely be my goodbye. I can only see LL's move to a user-unfriendly blogroll in place of a forum as a way to further stifle communication between residents, and from Resident to LL (and you notice, the LL to resident part is missing, they are one of the very, very few companies that refuses to talk to their customers in the forums).

A friend of mine recently said that I should stop waging battle with LL, as I'm forgetting to live life as a result, and in some ways, she was right. Obviously, they have their agenda, they will not deviate from the master plan, no matter how wrong it may be, and Why should I expend so much energy tilting at this particular windmill?

It's simply that SL has so much potential, and I hate to see it wasted. But it's LL's baby, to grow or kill as they see fit, ultimately.

So yeah, you likely won't hear from me in the new forums. It's not a transition I plan to make.

supposedly they are supposed to be done with all the forum mergers and website stuff by October 9th..
but who knows really..one says this time the other says this time and this one over here says this time..

All the aggravation was worth it if only for Brenda's razor-sharp and always hilarious posts. But mostly I will be forever indebted to this poor excuse for a forum for introducing me to a certain shy farm girl with a heart the size of a million megaprims.

Thanks to all for making my workdays more tolerable.

Oh, and remember: Never abandon land or set it for sale to "anyone" if you mean to sell it to a specific resident.

I did this once before when they closed down a lot of the sections. This time I think I will just wait and see what happens next. No long goodbyes from me. I will go back to my country working class roots and just use a CBer/trucker phrase.
