What do you look for in an escort / strip club?

Obviously they are popular and harmless adult distractions but what do you look for when you go to one? What do you expect to see?

My guess would be escorts and strippers.

Being left alone to ponder life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat.

Pushy hosts are annoying, I know it's their job!

Being somewhat jaded toward pixel boobies now, I look for someone who knows how to flirt and can carry on a conversation. That is if I were to frequent such establishments.

Way way back when, when I had a club it seemed the dancers with great imaginations, who were good at making people feel welcome and talked a lot to keep the place alive really made the place. 3 dance moves over and over on a pole only goes so far. They need to have creative minds. Theres a million dancers/strippers in second life but the really good ones are hard to come by.

I've only been to a couple of strip clubs but I can tell you what really bothers me about them...when the dancers, mostly female avs, ignore my conversation over that of a male. My lindens are as good as theirs and I tip well when it's deserved! Males aren't the only big tippers!

Beautiful, voluptuous, naked (or soon-to-be-naked) women! What else? Doh!

Distance. Lots of distance. Preferably so far out of range, that the ads and such cannot be discerned from where I'm at.

The exit.

I usually look for empty vendor space to rent, if the place is popular.

I second this one. And if you absolutely have to build near me, how about a tasteful building, preferably floated as high into the sky as possible.

let me break it down for ya daz...as one who knows plenty of sl hoes...dancers, escorts, club managers, security tools, club owners, wanna bees, and slip-rock @zz customer-clients....

1st the avi (dancer,escort) has got to be hot!...i frequent these places, slide right inside these hoes heads...and a busted @zz avi kills everything! if you're paying to see a chick naked...it's gotta be worth the lindens...

an escort has to sell an illusion...she's gotta be able to convince a guy that he is gettin somethin special for the 1500L$ he's payin for that 10 minutes...(and if you aren't earnin that... you f'ing up somewhere)

the club it self has to have great music! cause you gotta sit through a few songs...none of the hoes are all about the get down...they gonna milk ya for lindens before ya get ya joint wet! so if the music sux, then i bolt!

no mall!!! all those scripts and prims create lag! espcially if you have a full dance floor. just a waste of time...sell ya trash elsewhere...

cool lower management employees...it's a party so your security flunkies should not be quick to label a few curse words as griefing and start bannin the loot...orbitin lindens is what i call that..Train ya flunkies!

innovative parties where stippers are seena s added deserts, not an empty dead as a turd hole with a few money grubbin slots fishin for linden! throw a big bash..let me shake my @zz and outwit the sploder...i'll slide the hoes a few lindens to see some skin... then i 'll rap up the night blowin the hottest ones back out after i've shined... and glowed...and stunned the world all through ya club..

I've never been a dancer, but I am both a DJ and a host (depends on the day) over at an adult club, men sometimes complain that I am... slightly biased towards women

So as you can see, the opposite of your experience is true too, even if less common. Those dancers were not really professional.

I look to see what dance animations they are using.

For stripers. One thing and one thing only one. Can they rp there dancing. Watching somone wiggle pixles is boring. No skill, no essence, just someone using a a pole as a camping chair with the strip option. FLirting is nice and all but show me how your are dancing. How you are taking it off. Make it a story, make it art. You are dancing not dry humping somone. So either rp or get off the bloody pole.

As far as escorts. I don't buy sex. Have picked up escorts but always for free and always to show them a good time not to have themm show me one. Far to many are so tired of faking stuff and well they need a good time. But the same goes for thiem. Make a story not slap pixels and click on some object or go ohhh and ahhh ever so often.

First of all the build should have a certain quality thats says - "learned to build yesterday"

There should be a lot of seams, and mismatched textures. There should be a lot of pink, or purple, or blue, or yellow, all far too bright and far too much of it.

The room itself should be roughly reminicent of an airplane hanger, cozy and intimate are totally the wrong message.

The main stage should have room for 20 dancers and at LEAST a dozen stripper poles. Ideally there will be a second, totally redundant room for even more dancers. Total dancing and seating capacity should exceed the sim population cap by 3 to 1.

Even though the emphasis is on the strip tease show, the club should have a dance floor so gigantic you have to shout to hold a conversation with somone on the other end.

Said dance floor should be tacky and have lots of changing colors, mainly those that clash with the other bright colors of the build.

The whole place should include a lot of prim search lights to grab everyone's cameras to make the zooming and panning features a chore.

At no point should the focus be on the quality of the strip dancing simulation - a handful of the lamest looking "sexy" dances you can find with only limited variety is fine.

Off to one side should be dance pads, in plain sight of everything else so its OBVIOUS the room is full of more campers than customers. The dance pads should be brightly colored and untextured, so as to clash with the other guady colors.

There should be a giagantic, ugly looking "Sploder" prominent in the room, right next to a personal synchronized dance item used as a cheap replacement for an actual club dance machine.

All over the walls should be Escort Vendors - which are basically rentable wall vending machines which supply notecards about escorts - Nothing says Sensual like the Escort version of the ads out of a Sunday paper.

Finally there should be a Dancer/Escort to Customer ratio of at least 5 to 1. Becuase that also makes some sort of warped sense, for there to be a horde of bored stripper/hookers ready to decend on the first hapless customer that walks through the door.

I look at the dancer's shoes.
