I asked about the long-borked forums here on the website feedback forum. I got a reply from a Linden who said, they couldn't fix it because it would be too hard to upgrade from php1 to php2. While I myself upgraded from php1 to 2, and later from 2 to 3, in little more than 10 minutes a pop and a couple button pushes.
Oddly though, the reply I got in that thread was removed, so all you see if you look, is a thread that looks like I'm talking to myself. Strange.
If they come through on their promise to axe these forums, which was announced months(?) ago like they are with the XSL forums, then it will be a moot point altogether.
