Lets say for argument sake there are 60 campers down there and paid for
as per Owners IM. 60 campers 24/7 at 1400 traffic units per day =84000 traffic
She does have a few rotating models too, that accounts for some additional traffic (likely to be ALTS from the creator)...and lastly genuine traffic and nosey parkers like us.

Senario 1 - paying 1 Linden per 10 minutes

= 144 L per bot per day x 60 = 8640 L per day

so over a week that would be 60,480 L

Senario 2 - paying 2 L per 10 minutes

= 120, 960 L total cost per week.

Top line skin producers tend to spend around 130k-180k L for classified ads to get into a top 6 position. Here the Skin producer won't get a listing in Classifieds but will be the only Skin producer visible in Popular Places.

Probably the smart thing to do is spread bet....use Senario 1 and pay 60.5k L for Popular listings and then buy a 70k-80k Classified advert and get a top 10 listing there too.

well being a nosey parker myself I popped over for a looksee myself last night, took me 3 attempts to get in. With that many zombies theres hardly any room left for customers.

I have an alt I use for testing and some of the tests, especially with physics can be quite rough. (Just imagine the crash test dummy on MythBusters). But my poor alt really hasn't ever had a meanigful conversation with anyone. She has never experienced the joys of virtual sex and in fact doesn't even have any "naughty bits". She has never made a post in the forums or had the pleasure of reading through a multipage thread that is about to be locked. Poor thing has never been shopping and has never worn anything except from the LL provided inventory.
I feel soooooo bad now and see the error of my ways. I think me and my alt are gonna have a long talk today. I might even bring her to the MG and over to the Xcite store.

Hmm Perhaps if we all keep dumping alts in there to get to the 100 Avatar limit so the owner can't login ?

Awwww...my alt has actually posted here on the forums (mostly when I forgot to log her out...), and she even has her own house and everything-which doesn't keep her from getting abused sometimes as a guinea pig for stuff I (try to) build...

...I *might* send her to the Oasis Zombies to check that out...

It's even worse than that. I took a friend there yesterday to show her. She was creeped out by the zombies but she loved the skins so much she insisted on buying on.

A long time ago, when I was a kid, there was a radio ad for a horror movie. I don't remember the name of the movie, or what it was about, but at one point, the announcer reminds us that "its only a movie". At that point, we hear a crowd say in a group monotone voice "Its only a movie". They repeat that line 3 or 4 times. I was about 8 or 9 at the time, and it sounded very creepy to me. Today, I saw those Windlight shots from Rebecca, and it hit me. It was those guys telling us that "its only a movie".

What gets me is there's probably someone out there whose absolute desire is to have the name "Rosy Perrin" ... and she can't .... because of this bastard ...

In case anyone really wants to use the information, this IS a violation of the alt policy. The limit for creating alts is TWO PER DAY. These apparently were all (or virtually all) created on just two days. And it certainly does use up some nice name combinations.

Yeah, they could at least have chosen some silly names like dfeh678 or something. I also thought the names looked "real".

I think the limit is 5 accounts linked, I been trying to create a 6th alt legally for a while and it can't be done, I would have to get a fake or yahoo adress or something to get more, but 5 is enough for me

...makes me want to break out my zombie skin and join them down there...

They don't care if you link a bunch more to alternate email addresses, as long as the rest of your sign up info is valid. I HAD to put my alt on a separate email, because she wasn't given the PayPal option when I had her on the same one as my main.

You've discovered the terrible secret of the skin business in SL. All those skins we buy have to come from living Avies. That poll is where the skinned avies are dumped until they grow new skins for harvesting. If you look close at the pictures on the first page of this post you will see some who have not completely regrown their skins.
