She was active 'til roughly February 14th, as she was at the "Kiss A Linden." I noticed she was not on my friendslist last night, and discovered she wasn't in search. I confirmed this mornin.

They killed Aki! I'd like to apply for the job of forum moderator and Adfarm AR helper outer. I need a fridge full of sandwiches, a Linden account, and unlimited power. I'll take care of adfarms and out of control threads on a commission basis.

Conclusions re: this thread derailment -

- Both Rebecca and Phil are seriously overwrought and need to lie down in darkened rooms until they feel better.

- Rebecca gives the impression she has some reason in her personal life for being so overwrought. Phil gives the impression he has waaaaay too much time on his hands.

- This is what happens when you feed trolls.

- There is an upside to all this: The people quibbling endlessly here are not cluttering up all the other threads in Resident Answers when they're focused on posting here.

- Strife has certainly earned his sabbatical.

- Mari's updates are so refreshing to read I hope she keeps posting them.

Yes he has, and I find it sort of funny that the most mature person in this thread is a five-year old.

Sincerely, Mari, I hope you find a way to work this out. I doubt they'll be there for long, but it's a real hassle when neighbors aren't accomodating of each other.

I've dug thru this thread but can't find a LM. Where is this place? My curiosity is out of control ~ like Claire's

She's also not on the list of moderators at the bottom of the RA anymore.

Sol slows a bit as the truck rocks from the Huey's buzz. She glances up and grins, picks up the radio and responds, "Roger that, Big Bird. Glad to have you aboard. Hamster trail is fresh, wheel still spinning. Mark speed and advise at will. Sol Out".

Sol passes Oryx a pen light to help her read the map and note that flew through the broken window, glances in the rearview at Lana and Niki, now comfortable in the heavy blanket.

She picks up speed and grins at Oryx, tilting her head up to indicate where the Huey had been and says, "Show off".

They laugh and roll on.

There are 4 Linden's still listed as mods at the bottom: Chadrick Linden, Char Linden, Mick Linden, Milo Linden. I see Strife is also still listed there.

And I never saw Aki listed there, but I assume I just didn't see the name.

What annoys me is that I can feed the trolls to my pet chipper any more! Damn it, what's the point of having a chipper if I can't feed trolls to it!

Come on people, how can we continue to argue over this stuff, in 12 short years large killer snakes will have invaded San Francisco. What will happen to SL if a giant python eats Phil?

Well that's confusing then. Wonder if Aki's name was ever down there then. I assume it was based on the mention that it was removed, but I never saw it there and Chadrick is still listed.

I could have sworn I saw it down there shortly after it was announced she was taking the position. Now, mind you, I'm prone to being wrong on many occasions and sometimes delusional. Heck, for all I know, it could have been wishful thinking on my part!

But then, I never saw proof of her existence as an active moderator either. (If you have absolute proof of it, send linkies my way!)

Also, is there a way to hide a moderator's name from the list? I'm not as familiar with the behind the scene's of forums as I am about posting to them.

Oryx raises her arm out the window of the truck, waving hallo to the Huey ahead. She zips open her cunningly hidden hip pocket and slips a curved silver flask from it. Uncapping the flask, she takes a sip and licks her lips, savoring the warm bourbon. She then passes the flask through the back window to Nika; "Have a nip, ladies.
