Hey Lawrence, are you monitoring how many new users are hitting their 40/month limit?
Have you considered upping that if there is a large number of them?

Dude.. when you deduct payment for tier, please put that transaction in the history.
My transaction history doesn't add up, which can be a bit alarming. |

Hey Lawrence, are you monitoring how many new users are hitting their 40/month limit? Not as closely as I would like to be. Have you considered upping that if there is a large number of them? We will continue to evaluate the situation, if at some point in time the benefits of raising the limits appear to outweight the drawbacks then we likely will. Cheers, Lawrence |

Is it just me, or are the two graphs off by one day. We are on Nov2 PST, but the graphs show the volume for 31Oct for both volume and last close. Is the graph two days behind instead of one?

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with Lindex. Selling has been a breeze, and I didn't have to worry about tier this month because it came right out of my account. After sending an email to cash out I had money in Paypal 2 1/2 hours later, very much sooner than expected. Everything has been wonderful!

The date labels on the graph are broken due to the month-month transition. It appears to be a bug in the graphing library we're using. Right now it's not a high priority to fix, but it is something we intend to address. Cheers, Lawrence |

On that subject... how goes the PayPal automation? ![]() Pretty well, I just posted an update in this thread. In summary, it's going to QA today and if it passes QA within a day or two it should launch next week. Cheers, Lawrence |

As I posted in another thread, I sent an e-mail to receive a physical check a week ago... but have received no confirmation or notice as to when said transaction has been finalized/check sent out.
It says two business days, but this has been going on five now, and the US$ amount is still showing in my account record. I do not have a PayPal account, nor desire one, so please do not penalize people who want an actual check more than the $10 you're charging to have the benefit of a physical check being sent with poor handling of said transaction types. Bye bye for now, Alexis |

Wrong Priority
11-05-2005 03:17
Perhaps if LInden Labs had spent some time seriously considering their technical ability to deal with new Version Updates and spent the time and money that's been invested in this Commercial Feature on the BASIC game world, we would not be all in the mess we are today.
I have been unable to play since the Version 1,7 which is a completely tragic and badly planned hastily implemented mess. I have not the slightest interest in reading about LL's new amazing currency money making scheme when I cannot even see the textures in the sims i own, cannot walk or fly, cannot move for crippling lag, cannot perform the BASIC functions in a world. The money I am concerned about is the WASTED $390 I am paying this month for a formerly working virtual world that is now UNPLAYABLE. LL might have better served us ALL by NOT rushing through Version Updates and ventures designed for promotion of commercial interests only, and actually thought about the stability and function of the game itself. LIndex is useless if you cannot even create one object, or see what u have made before, As a creator of saleable products in SL I cant work or earn or make L$ if I cannot even get the textures of my store to rezz so I can find it. Frankly I am unimpressed at the LInden time wasted on this currency exchange, GOM was a perfectly OK resource, when there are better things to work on. As far as I, and many other persons are concerned this week EVERY LINDEN should drop everything else until the non working game is FIXED !! _____________________

What happened to the 'see for miles' graphical visions we were shown of Havok Engine? Instead we got moral crusades to please American businesses. OPPOSE LOCAL TAXES ON VIRTUAL WORLDS !! THE BRAVE NEW WORLD HAS BECOME A BIG NEW SHOP |

WhyWon't You process my Withdrawl to Paypal
11-30-2005 16:22
I have submitted 4 separate requests for withdrawal of US dollors to my paypal account. The initial amount was submitted on the 11/23/2005 (over 5 days ago). What seems to be the problem with transferring my funds? Now I am reluctant to use LindenX in the future. Does it always take over 5 days to forward funds to paypal?

The 23rd is at most 4 business days ago. The holidays slowed processing a bit which is why we haven't been processing things as quickly as we normally do. We should get caught back up tomorrow. Can we have a publicly-available LindeX US$/L$ exchange rate?
12-18-2005 02:40
Hi Lawrence & other LindeX devs,
With LindeX development stabilizing, I wonder if you are available to start adding some extra features to it, like a publicly-available US$/L$ ratio which we could track down for including in our own websites and similar projects? You can get this information today, but it needs some clever tricks with fake authentication and storing pre-generated cookies. In other words — it works, but it's a mess. I'm feeling encouraged by your recent Map API to start asking you this kind of things ![]() _____________________
