Ok well your right, I cant speak for everyone. but the likeliniess of LL banning pixel sex is about as likely as them fixing 100% of all problems SL is having with the next update

I think this is getting way out of hand. Why in the world did lindens make it a 18plus game and also make mature and pg sims. No one under the age of 18 should be in here. And if you are over 18 and don't want to be subjected to 'adult' themes then keep your butt on a pg sim.

If there was actually a decent amount of PG land available, many of us would. The simple problem is that LL have promoted the adult side, which is why there is a disproportionate amount of mature regions around the grid. We would have bought land on a PG sim if there had been any, now after a year or more we're too settled to just uproot and move to a PG sim.

Incidently, I'm not trying to remove *all* adult content because a) that would be subjective as to what is and isn't acceptable, b) different countries have different laws, c) it would just push it underground where it's even less controllable. Just let's make sure adult content is labelled as adult content, and landowners are responsible enough to mark their land and describe it appropriately so people won't go there by mistake and see material they have chosen not to see. If people don't do that... then suffer the consequences as per the ToS. Everyone wins.

Simple your bedroom in SL isnt YOURS, its LL servers, and LL didnt intend on making a Sexapade universe.
LL blog post was about violent sex acts and simulated rape I beleive. But much like people do on the forums with everyone elses post here, people try and pick apart word for word and try to argue the meaning of individual words rather than admit they understand what the entire group of words mean. I dunno maybe arguingn the smallest details and failing to see the biger picture makes some feel like they are smarter than others, even though they fail to recognize the message in its entirety

Depending which way you look at it, you could just as easily say things have gotten worse in SL generally because of the prevalence of SL sex more than it was 2 years ago.

I blame a lot of this on the open verification. If people knew they could actually be traced and identified, it might make them just that little bit nervous enough not to get involved in some of the strange goings on in Second Life.

OK i will go along with the open verification, the game in general I feel went down hill when they stopped verification. More griefers being the number one thing though.

No where that I have read any member of LL call SL a game. I know we can argue the "Is SL a game" thing for days and months as it already has been. But lets jut say for the sake of arguement, that when LL speaks about SL, they never mention its a game.
