From: Hiro Pendragon Remove yourself from this thread. This whole thread is a clear violation of naming names and singles out Cocoanut for the purpose of ridicule. That's not productive. you have a really strange idea of what the naming name rule means hiro pendargon. the following quote is explicit foreshadowing of great things to come. it's ont he public record of this forum. you must have missed it while you where revolutionizing the universe. "I will be getting to my forum reform poll fairly soon, I hope; I've been busy with other things."

From: Nolan Nash Issuing orders now are we? I guess I missed the memo, the one which explained how Hiro was hired by LL to be the next moderator. they must have hired him at the FIC invasion meeting in SF last weekend.

I think you'll have to illustrate your point a little more clearly. That post was about Prokofy Neva, who had just recently made a very long thread that falsely accused Second Life residents of tracking personal information and using it to violate privacy. He'd also taken several perfectly normal threads and used them to conduct a campaign of hate against two particular individuals. I'm not sure what threads you can point to where I have behaved along those lines, but you're welcome to look for it. In any case, the moderation situation has improved signifcantly since that time, with renewed consequences for bad forum behavior and with particularly egregious offenders already dispatched. Also, dig this: /invalid_link.html (Threads started by Enabran Templar) Not a single lock icon ( ). Come back to this discussion when you can match that.

From: Jauani Wu you have a really strange idea of what the naming name rule means hiro pendargon. Gee, I would assume starting a thread to sarcastically ridicule someone falls under the category of singling someone out in a negative manner. Could you please elaborate why this is a wrong assumption? From: someone the following quote is explicit foreshadowing of great things to come. it's ont he public record of this forum. you must have missed it while you where revolutionizing the universe. "I will be getting to my forum reform poll fairly soon, I hope; I've been busy with other things."Don't you think you're making a big deal out of someone announcing that they may post something?

From: Hiro Pendragon Gee, I would assume starting a thread to sarcastically ridicule someone falls under the category of singling someone out in a negative manner. Could you please elaborate why this is a wrong assumption? sarcasm - guilty (always). ridicule- innocent. coca keeps foreshadowing her forum reform poll. i thought it would be interesting to see if anyone cares about this reform poll with my own poll. i think it's fair. From: someone Don't you think you're making a big deal out of someone announcing that they may post something?
i think you are making the big deal, dude. i just made a poll about a poll. i hope your responses aren't because i compared the forum reform to the posecube revolution, which incidently allowed sl to be far more immersive than previously. i thought it was a flattering comparison myself.

Jauani, stop behaving like a pancake. Kris.... heh, no way. You can do whatever you want to do. Obey me. That is all.

From: Hiro Pendragon However, being a forum regular, and not even having heard of this "forum reform post", I think things are a bit exagerated. You're also the one who hadn't heard of the Lindens taking donations for the teen grid, right? You may be a forum regular, but do you actually read them? I've seen Cocoa mention her forum reform thread many, many times. No, it isn't exagerated. You just haven't paid attention again.

Ohh yes. If forum reform in the way you request ever comes about you will be one of the first people banned. You have made threads that were nothing but person attacks. What kind of person gets a thread locked in greetings and well wishes? Not just one but two in the same week. You personally attack people all the time, striking first and then when people defend themselves and other people chime in on how insane what you are doing is, you whine and play victim. You haven't threatened to leave in like 2 weeks, you are over due.

Agreed - I have heard her mention it several times in several different threads - I don't know why she just doesn't make the damn poll already. Perhaps a poll about making the poll is in order first. Just because Hiro doesn't know about it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Anytime I try, it takes forever and sometimes doesn't make much sense. Has anyone had to explain the forums to people in their RL?

I for one am looking forward to this new development on pins and needles.
The anticipation is so great I may just pee my pants waiting...
I will select the 'pie' option
And life will continue as per usual.
