Please don't make an opinion when you don't spend your time at the welcome area. It's that simple? If you do you are only making yourself look like a fool and bashing something you don't know about is simply silly. I know how all of you have your own second lives. I'm simply saying don't bash mine and I will do the same for you. I will say again I don't make posts about people who are strippers and escorts, this isn't a game. Okay granted but some people do look at it as such. The welcome area does welcome people, just as much as the escorts sleep with people...you are going to get a bad escort as much as you might get a bad welcome. Yet no one complains about the bad escort in the forums?

You don't like people? Ignore them! You don't like an area? Stay away from it! It's not hard, just don't bash it because you had a bad experience there. Most of us do help people and have fun with alot of new people. Everyone in the world is different and NOT everyone is going to be happy. Including me.

She neg rates people for fun. People get upset. She trots out the same old lines in defense. They're the same lines people all over use to defend jerkish behavior - they blame it on someone else's thin skin, they claim its their right, they cry that they're the ones being griefed. Anything but acknowledge the fact that they're being jerks, and they know they're being jerks, because if they did that, they'd have to stop doing what they're doing - and they LIKE being jerks, so they don't want to stop.

I'm not telling you to quit being a jerk on your own land. I'm telling you to quit being a jerk in the Welcome Area. But that would deprive you of your built-in audience, so you won't do that either.

Violet's "blahs" are an indication she doesn't waste time pontificating like a Forum Moron who thinks he or she is intelligent and that his or her opinion is worthy to be posted.

And why shouldn't she post? She makes more sense than most people here.

No one complains about bad escorts because Second Life has no officially designated and endorsed Escort Area. And of course, mentors hang out in the welcome area rather than going elsewhere part of the time because we're...erm....doing the welcoming thing.

There really should be no issue to get over here - there are a couple jerks in welcome but Violet is not one of them, I have known her a while and we get along great.

There are plenty escort areas and second life approves of it all or there would be no sex in second life at all. Don't even get me started on mentors, I've noticed alot of them are newbiefiles looking to corrupt some newbies and that is the only reason why they are mentors. Way to go.

So ... I'm still not getting the connection between sex, clubs and the Welcome Area. Anyone care to explain?
