I think it has been a great thread overall, even starting out as a negative subject potentially. The best way to keep it on track is to resist the urge to respond to the snide side grumbles and just keep the discussion going.

I think you made an excellent point when you said you don't think that the forums need reformed to have freedom of speech, because their current state proves that freedom of speech does exist. Those who want to "reform" the forums by changing it to "you can't say this, this and this" are not about free speech, they are about speech they agree with.

I think it was obvious to most that she was making a joke, and that, although she used your post as an example, she wasn't in fact calling you a bitch. That was my take on it anyway. Had she used my post for the exact same reason, I wouldn't have thought she was calling me a bitch.

Agreed one-hundred percent, especially the bolded part.

In addition, I think that some folks mistakenly view disagreement with their ideas as a want to censor them or take away their free speech. Often, these same folks claim that there is some group of 6 or however many people that act in collusion, when in fact, they just happen to come to the same conclusion on some matters.

Either enforce all the forum rules for everyone or bring back Prok. Its your call LL.

How do you know the rules for everyone aren't being enforced? Have you monitored Ellie's email for warnings? Do you actually think Prokofy got kicked and banned after one infraction? The number of times it was forced to post under an alt disproves that idea.

I have a problem with ppl calling me a bitch a whore, a cold blooded whore over and over again. You bet I do. As everyone should IMO. If this is acceptable behavior I want to hear it from LL cus the moment it is deemed "acceptable" I won't post again. Because in my world ppl don't talk to each other that way.

Ok. YES! I can agree with you that is a horrible thing to be called. But she was NOT calling you that. Read the post in context. It was along the lines of *IF* I say this, *THEN* this.

She was using an example of someone doing so to prove a point.

Pen but that is the problem the majority of the time any one is called foul names in these fourms its me. After this long I do tend to take these things very personaly. Use someone else as an example, how hard would that of been? Not hard but there would of been no backlash, no drama in doing that. God forbid we should treat each other as adults. I am no longer a target and LL should no longer allow this type of behavior.
