Tweke is another spelling for tweak. I'll be building and script-writing on SL, which means I'll doing a lot of tweaking until I get things right.
I haven't used the name Tweke before SL, but I did have a character called Tweeq on Anarchy Online for a while.
After I picked it, I found out that tweke is the name of the pawns in a variation of chess called Sir Bombalot.

Dave cuz it's my first name and quite frankly I don't think I could live with any other name because it's my personal belief that Dave is the coolest name in the world Zeeman cuz it sounds like a french dude going "dave, you are zee man!" and also because it was at the bottom of the list and I was willing to bet that everyone else had gone from top to bottom and chose theirs as soon as they saw a good one. This means that "Zeemen" are rare and that's pretty much what I wanna be, unique and rare

I'm so glad you bumped this post. I remember it from awhile ago but seems I never got around to posting to it. I have a couple of names I've recycled over the years. One is Misnomer which I sometimes spell Msnomer although that spelling sometimes blocked because of the "msn" . Someone else here said: From: someone I picked it because I wanted something nice and generic in homage to the blissful anonymity of online communities like this I'm not sure I could've said it better. Also, when I've tried to create a name for games & such I never liked the idea of being constrained by a fleeting thought that I might later hate. Misnomer is defined as "the act of referring to a person by the wrong name". Jones flowed well with it and is such a common name it seemed fitting.

I constantly use different names in games. Came up with this one after looking through the last names and found Rand. So I became Ope Rand. All you fellow CS's should get it.

Dave: Zeeman in Dutch is something like saylor. Litteraly "a man of the sea". My last name is just a random pick from the list I think. My first name is Bram, but that isn't a known name in america I think, so I picked Mark, which I like, and also is 4 letters and when you turn it around you get Kram, which is almost Bram

TDK = The Dark Knight aka Batman. Not the tv Batman, Alan Moore's Batman. He's tough but fair. He fights for justice, not the law. He's a gadget freak and has some waaaaay cool toys. He never killed anyone, even when he had the chance and motive. He wears black and chicks dig him. ...and he kicked Superman's arse. (I hate Superman, he's such a creep)

I had another name chosen actually. I was gunna be Sakura Yamamoto which is pretty close to Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura, I'm known as Sakura everywhere else but here. But i never got a reply from that email, so i started another. I got Hikaru from the anime Angelic Layer, she is a tiny fighting robot.

My name has a long story... I guess...
The first name I ever used in a game was Death(being a fourteen year old with the mental allocation I had at the time, it suited me perfectly). I used that in "WCW/NWO Revenge." It was my brother's game, and the first I remember playing with a "Create A Character" option.
The next name I used after that name wore off was Satin... I later realized that it was spelled S-a-t-a-n and felt stupid (Once again... 14 years old). I used that on "LoZ: A Link to the Past." Amusingly enough, it was my friend's game and he had the name "Piro" in an attempt to write "Pyro." He was 8 when he played it though.
Then I borrowed "Dragon Warrior" from my friend (same friend) and it only had four spaces for a name. What was I to do??? I had to think up a whole new name, and thus, Xeno was born. This is actually my current gaming name, but I'll explain why I didn't use it on SL... eventually.
Sometime, during my freshman year in high school, we learned our greek mythology. I had been interested in it for several years. Dionysus was always my favorite greek god. God of fertility, wine, and the hearth. ...Plus naked women used to dance on a hill to worship him. Ok, that actually had little bearing on the situation. Anyway, I feel that his role as a god was greatly overlooked, and I just really like his name. I think the first time I ever used the name Dionysus was on "Tony Hawk: Pro Skater 2." That was also where I created a last name for Xeno. So, Xeno Mezphy was then created. SL did not allow me to create my own last name however, and I figured my name should be longer than four letters, plus I didn't want to taint Xeno Mezphy. Dionysus has also been my computer name, Xeno is my console name (Don't you wish you played video games so much you had multiple names?) So, Dionysus Starseeker was then created. I felt that Starseeker flowed well with Dionysus plus, I was originally planning on becoming an Astrophysicist. From Astrophysicist to 3D animator in one and a half easy grade points. Hey, 2.5 is passing...
Hey!!! Wake up!!! The overly long explanation is over! You are free to go about your business.

A couple of years ago I was having problems coming up with a name for a new char, so I turned to the bookcase for inspiration. Cailyn is a modified version of a name in a Melanie Rawn novel. She's been with me now through various games, sometimes spelt with a K, or an extra n at the end (until I get the name I want ) Miller I chose just because it sounded fairly normal, a bit like me really

My story: When I firstly did an online game it was Delta Force and I needed a nick there, so I named myself Velociraptor, since I just love dino's and thats my favorite. When I arrived @ Anarchy Online my nick was taken (by someone lvl 5 and he still is lvl 5...) So, I had to make up some new ones. Firstly I used some names of LotR like Eriador but when I resubscribed after holiday I wanted a restart. So I needed a new name. I was browsing trough my pictures I got from all my wandering on websites and my eye fall on some cool looking dragon, named, tadadada, Solstice. But I added one "l" since it was so empty somehow Digeridoo I took because when I subscribed for first beta I had to pick a last name, and I love the wicked instrument Thats it -Soll

Well, for ages, I'd used 'RobDBruce' or something similar as my online name (I'm scottish (actually scottish, that is), and my middle/first name is Robert), and I thought I needed a change when I signed up for WWIIOL (yeah, yeah, I'm one of THEM), and as I'm a big LotR fan, I chose Mith. Then, when I eventually got an actual account, rather than just the Gigex trial, Mith was already taken, and as there's an 8 char limit for WWIIOL names, I chose Mithrand. For those of you who don't know LotR, Mithrandir is Gandalfs elven name, and means Grey Pilgrim, IIRC ( the Mith part is Sindarin for Grey, and I'm pretty sure the randir bit is pilgrim)
*checks The Complete Tolkien Companion*
Oh, no, it's Grey Wanderer... Anyway, so that's how I came about my name.
Tada!
Oh, and the Sandgrain bit was just because I was wanting to see if they had 'Russell' as a surname, and it was close to it, when they didn't.

Kurt Godel is an old dead dude which I admire. I was amazed they had 'Godel as a last name choice.' So I naturally chose Kurt.
He is a famous Mathmatician which changed the way we view information, language, arguements etc...
Do a search for Godel. I was introduced to Godel via Dougleas Hafstadters Pulitzer Prize winning book "Godel, Echer, Bach" If you are at all interested in AI, self-aware systems, recursion or other such non-sense. You should read the book uif you havnt already.
Godel was one of the German-austrian smart dudes we got out before WWII.
When they asked Einstien where he would like to reside in the US he said Princeton becuase that is where Godel was. He said "I want to walk home with Godel." Supposedly in german it was some very praising compliment.

Came over before the current ww2 crowd but hail from there anyway.....when I started WW2 I couldn't think of anything so I chose a name that would be short and easy to type in middle of a battle, settled on the RL navy squadron I was in..HC2. HC2 seemed like it would have been a dorky name for a community sim such as this, but again I couldn't think of anything so tried going phonetic and chose Aychcee...of course my going phonetic may not have worked as one of the guys in my own group calls me atch-cee

Aiosa Lefey ................ A name to end all names? No. The name to end all MY names? No. Aiosa is just another passing name for this wannabe web pirate. Surfer, And gamer extrodenare (wannabe I say).
Now comes the story...
I believe nothing can truely be original with out some sort of past, and so I will spin the yarn of my unevntful tale.
The early years of AOL (2.0 my friends) young as I was I needed a name, often calling my self ace (yeah, REAL original pal) I sought for it to do. I settled for Ace1053596... And that was my name for many, many, many years, then upon a glance i noticed it was unsuiting. So began the never ending quest for identities... what game brought this on? The all but destroyed Infantry... Here I sought for some better names... Think105 (still unoriginal) PureThought (yeah I was real full of myself) Agenda22.. still all crap. Looking on in myl life I had to find more, so began a similtanious chase for names that spread accross the internet! From MUDS to MMORPGS to FPS's thye all felt the wrath of my lonelyness! I thought one day outside a gas station, thinking of a name for battle tech (available at your local dave and busters*) So I was thinking matrix... hmmm... switch, apoch, mouse... hmmm.. switch... button pusher... no.... toggle.. Yes toggle.. and so it suited me for a while. Till I was at the local cyber cafe, about to boot up on my first run of medal of honor, when inspiration struck, I loved to play the nazi forces, and to battle as a german I needed a REALLY fake german name, and so I added the prefex Von to it, and so VonToggle was born, a true original name, my first! I was in love, and to this day I use this name... I am the only one, from this day forth if you see ANYONE useing that name know that theu stole it from ME! and that was the end of the first thread of name searches... But alas there is another... the aspects of roleplaying games. I loved MUDs and MUX's and suc for there often vast an d limitless potention (notably TREYVAN) but I needed a name, I was fond of misspelled conventional names Like Derik (pretty crappy) but stumbled accidently upon Klarkk (I reapplied 3 times, changed some thing to a k each time) that character I fell deeply in love with. But alas a haalf elven paladin can't follow you mevery where. and to change the man i love behind the name would be unthinkable, so I had to find an all pourpose name. Late one night hovered above the ping png table in a basment full of friends I was asked to pick a name for a new character in BIOrun (a tabletop rpg made up by my friend) I thouught for a while, looking back on all I had before, spelling them out in my head and mixing them every which way, I found not enough, I needed so,ething with no meaning, something thats meaning would be me, my own, I frantically searched about the room and saw an old book on nuresing, that mixed in with the other letters bore a new name whosse likes have not been seen on this planet, AIOSA! Creater of S.I.A. and Atech, in that game I was a fallen hero, once great, now nothing in a wasteland, and a some what great character, I spent long minutes drwaing him, that look sticks with me today, and so do his ambitions. And so I saw an advertisment for second life... I thought nothing of it, seemed to be nothing more than a SOL (Sims OnLine, not Satalite of Love [mst3k]) rip off.I went about my day untill the number one rated player in Mt.Fujji (platnum Kitty) mentioned this game, I promtly looked upon it and low and behold I fell in love, this is where dreams could come true. And so I registered 5 times all under the name Aiosa(Aiosa VonLenard, Aiosa Kato, Aoisa Chan, Aiosa Lefay, Aiosa EEpoch.) And this was the only one to come back to me, and now I mmust become a great scripter so I CAN RULE THE WORLD! or build a satalite in space... one of the two... but I will one day strive to be great...
Wow that ws long...
