ahahah actually, no, it is precisely my business

How actually is any of it your concern? It is something between Bedazzle and the vendors.

They were not paid - they receive the sales from the items in the vendors, which are at about 90% of their normal price.

10% if not less actually.

do you really care? I mean, if you do, we can go into it. there's some bits about my childhood i could probably work into the discussion that i've been meaning to get off my chest.

It seems fair - the vendors were added at the end. Bedazzle et al did all the development. The value for vendors I would imagine would be exposure.

Nah not really, though I am a great listener if you want to unload. It would certainly be more interesting than the "OMG LL BEDAZZLE TORRID AIMEE PREEN WAAAH FAVORITISM WAKE THE FUCK UP" nonsense.

I coded whatever needed coding... I worked on the banking and shopping systems, as well as the website, car, the works. Christopher Omega kindly provided us with elevators on a moment's notice when the deadline came and I was still completely innundated with work.

Other vendors in the future ???
09-27-2005 13:16
Ahhhh. with the growth plans it is certain. But realistically..you've got a design team that did an amazing job..amazing. If you bash anybody..sour grapes. If you want to be part of something that is great. Why not ask to be included? Hostility gets you what? I, personally, think that there is a lot of potential here for a lot of people. Get involved - not mad.

Jimmy, Foxy, Eggy et al.

AMAZING

one more time..

AMAZING

it is fun to watch people succeed. others are soon to follow..while others are just busy throwing rocks and tossing insults.

A reminder: please refrain from personal attacking other Second Life Residents. If you don't agree with someone, state your case, but please don't attack the other 'side' personally. Also, please stay on-topic.

This was not the official launch, but instead testing. As SI moves beyond testing, I believe the island will be limited to those with a Wells Fargo account and who are 18-24 years old.
Read the story in the 9/20 issue of the Messenger.

Is SI back online ? Because it looks like my account was suspended. All I did was test out transfers at the request of Bedazzle members. I sure ain't gonna take the blame for them.

(even if I had fun doing it and it didn't cost me anything except the 99 L$ I had transfered TO the SI from MG)

Billing Rate: US$ Corporate
09-27-2005 13:48
I went to the secondlife.com/account page and logged in with a Stagecoach name and it pulled up an account, with a billing rate of "US$ Corporate", on hold, with an expiration date of Dec-0.

They bought 5000 accounts from LL. Accounts are given away freely to WF customers and last only for a month.

Yo a quick Q... wuz anyone else able to build on Stagecoach Island using the SI prog thingie?

'Cuz I launched Stagecoach Island and hit Ctrl-4, and there were all my Build tools, LOLEX. I also looked under the Tools menu and they were still there. I went to other menus (like HELP!) to confirm this... not some cross-pollinated hacktivism of dolphin deities. :)

Kinda weird right-click edit was disabled but not the overarching architecture.

I really enjoyed my time there with some of you!

Great we kept Snapzilla shots t00.

Hi!

As with Main Grid exploits and bugs, please do not post them to the forums! You can contact an eXtreme Bug Hunter such as myself with priority exploits and bugs. While warning your friends of a potential exploit may sound like a good idea, you're actually releasing very sensitive information that could be used to cause harm to the grid, the economy and your fellow Residents.

Thanks!

Wll you know Brent, I would love to have contacted someone about this but we in the SL community have been pretty much in the dark about this up until a few days ago. I didn't know who to report it to because I still don't who the hell is actually running the damn island. LL? Wells Fargo? Swivel? Bedazzle? Who the hell is RUNNING it?!

Pretty sad, though, that it took me 20 seconds to find it, on accident. I was amazed something so obvious was overlooked by such a "great and stunning" design team.
