And gee what a surprise that Linden invited those particular vendors to sell there. When will Linden Lab realize that tehre are more vendors and members in SL than Aimee, Preen, Midnight, Torrid.

WAKE UP LINDEN LAB ...SHEESH

I agree.

what do i see? the same ppl being promoted by Linden Lab. I am not shocked, I'm too busy puking to be shocked. SL "its not what you know or how well you know it, its who you know"

Naw I'm not shocked after all they did say a dozen ppl would be able to sell their wears on the island. A dozen hand picked by LL and bedazzle.

I am against this sort of business tatic as it does nothing for the average person but bring them down. Tell me again its just business. Yes yes I know, it's just business.

If getting ahead means that i have to kiss anyones ass, I would rather be left behind.

Favoritism for profit welcome to the new SL pfft.

Just to clarify one thing you said, the vendors were not picked by LL, they were chosen by Bedazzle, as it is their project. LL recommended Bedazzle initially for the project because there was no other comparable established team to handle something on this scale. Everything after that involves Bedazzle and the client, including Bedazzle choosing who they wanted to be vendors in their project. The reasons Bedazzle got the project have already been well hashed out, this is nothing new.

Sour grapes yet again. I am impressed you restrained yourself this long, it is so out of chracter. Maybe, if you didn't insult people in mass, weren't so abrassive and didn't treat the people that have worked with you like crap, people would acutally consider working with you.

Linden Lab did not pick the vendors, Bedazzle did. At least criticise the right people.

The passive aggressive way you make personal attacks has always amused me, Catherine.

Hmmmm.

Well, Jimmy Thompson did a great job. But, he's always been pretty brilliant. I will admit that.

Did he do the welcome area? Seems kinda similar..

Out of all the ppl who subscribe to SL bedazzle is the only talented team who could create a project of this size. Good to know you feel that way. I disagree I think there are many many many talented ppl in SL who could of done far better a job. LL simply did not look for them.

Martin,

Nice response. Passive-Agressive tactics for the win.

Have you ever wondered if your website that looks like it was created in 1997 using MS Frontpage and has such welcoming and inovative pages like "Redneck Barbie" and "Crapzilla" hold you and your group back from being promoted by Linden Lab?

Yes he did, as did Foxy and Eggy. The main point is there was no established group with a proven track record of work at the time. The closest would have been Spellbound, and their focus was different than Bedazzle. This was all argued about endlessly at the time this came out. Bedazzle was more than deserving of the opportunity they received, and criticism of that comes across as nothing more than sour grapes.

Sigh. Did you see the prices on the stuff there? It's peanuts. Literally pennies in real currency.

You know a difference here, Catherine, is you have publicly stated that Martin is your alt. Why you switch back and forth like Sybil is beyond me, but that is your business. However, Nolan is not my alt - we are two different people, and your continued statements otherwise are abuse reported.

WEll, it's always hard to know who did what. I'm pretty sure I know what Jimmy did, because I've seen a lot of his work and it's very visual and obvious.

As to what Eggy was responsible for versus what other people were supposed to do, I can't say.

However, has stage coach launched yet? Shutting it down after launch is not a good sign.

The reason for this is that the users only have a very small amount of money - I believe like $30L or something. This was not set up to be a money-making venture for the vendors included by any stretch of the imagination. It was to provide high quality content to be part of the incentive of saving money and learning the banking features.

They were not paid - they receive the sales from the items in the vendors, which are at about 90% off their normal price.
