First of all "Thank you" to those who posted how they also felt similar to how I feel. For well over a year I have seen my share of inappropriate things in this forum. Again I see I have been accused open of having a "bi-polar" mental condition. Again I see the multiple posts of insults and quick jabs by ppl I have never met or spoken to. Again I see accusations being throw out about something I may have said, but no quotes were given. Again I see mob mentality continue.

IMO this is obvious harassment it is against the rules of the forums. When I file the complaints via the reporting system nothing is done. This post is my formal complaint against those who have continued this harassment but more so LL your allowing it IMO is 1) bad for business. 2) really bad CS 3) very bad PR.

These forums represent 10-20% of all residents. Yet I see a lot of policy changes being based on these users opinions. Given the obvious behavior of the majority of posters in these forums I highly suggest they do not represent the feelings of those in world by any means.

I have nothing to say to all those who yet again chose to post out of spite, anger, contempt or chose to post a bold face lie. I have nothing to say because I have never met these ppl in world.

I do however have to say I feel I am being singled out as the forum "scapegoat
" . I do not appreciate the fact that LL allows this "gang" mentality.

I found it very curiuos that not only did most of these ppl not know how I felt on any issue, but they never even took the time to ask me my opinion they just assumed what my thoughts were.

FYI:

Commercialism;
I am for it in SL via the player base. Run a business in SL, earn a profit, make enough to pay your land tier fees. Hell Yes!

Commercialism;
I am against it in SL via any corporation that would over shadow the work of the artists, builders, scriptures and those that play for social reasons. Hell No!

Government;

I am open to exploring our options.

Land Barons;

Fact is they are investing their own RL US$ what they do with it is none of my business.

Unless I see them trying to control the majority of the land and abuse that power. Via bans, and jacking up land prices, or controlling the auction process. I have nothing against them.

Economy;

Oh boy good one, I do believe LL made a mistake in this land round of changes and we will see a trickle down affect as a result.

I once said they would have to pry my dead cold fingers off my keyboard before I left SL. Yeah that's probably still true. For what its worth;

LL has always gone above and beyond my expectations when it came to interacting with their customer base.

LL has continued to blow my mind with their innovative ways for groups of ppl to create, interact and collaborate from all over the world.

LL continues to try and for that I thank them

what exactly is a "freely exchanged open and accepted ideal"? How can you have a productive discussion/arguement about ANYTHING if the only ideals we can use are the "accepted" ones? Here's my opinion, that is a (edited) statement from soneone trying to sound like they understand logical thought and just can't. And it's my opinion, not a reprisal. I am starting to wonder why anyone bothers trying to get you to see their side of an issue.

I hate to break it to you, but the "metaverse" is gonna exist whether or not someone is offended by someone else's posts in some miniscule corner of the internet. LOL

I am sorry if you don't understand what I am saying, Without the ability to speak ones opinion without fear of being called an "idiot" IMO, we will get no where in achieving a lofty goal like a metaverse.

I understand all sides of the issues, just because I dont agree doesn't mean I dont understand.

That is a valid opinion, not yet a fact. Yet you speak as if it is a fact.

This is true Cat, and a great point. The same thing can be said when one simply dismisses the post of another because they disagree.

I dont appreciate being told "edited)" openly in the LL forums.

Even though I have repeatedly asked the posters to this thread to refrain from posting personal attacks at each other, the personal attacks continue to fly. For that reason and because this thread has gone far beyond the point of useful discussion, I am closing it.
