Catherine, I have never met you in world but often I read your posts and the horrible things that people say to you. It seems that those people have nothing better to do than harrass you and put you down in any way they see fit. That is the reason that I never post anything on these forums, I feel my opinion will just be torn apart and I will be harrassed for anything that I have to say. I too cannot take the emotional harrassment that you find here on the forums. Their opinions and thoughts are the only ones that matter to SL and anything we have to say is wrong and they must judge us and make smartass remarks about us. I would rather be silent than be ridiculed by these know it alls :\ Thanks for posting your thoughts and feelings, not everyone who reads it is out to get you

I have not read most of this thread, I just see you embroiled right in the middle of it all again, and don't want to see you get upset. Please consider what I have always said, which is to resist the urge to respond to every person. It just ends up in this downward spiral where you become increasingly upset and isolated, and people become increasingly smug. You have the power to keep these discussions level and sane by simply not responding to the taunts and posts that end up getting exactly the kind of reaction that they seek. I don't want to see you hurt by all this again. Welcome back by the way.

Not upset. Spoke my mind Only muted those that have been hounding my every post with some smart ass remark or intentional hurtful remark for the past few days. Just copy and pasting most times now I made a point and if you read the responces or non responces they validate the points I made within my post. My alt is happy in world living as a free spririt it's nice being reminded of why I joined to begin with, ty for the kind words Much appreciated.

While there is some productive conversation in this thread, I just wanted to remind everyone that the forums are not the proper place to air personal attacks against one another - please refrain from personally attacking someone you don't agree with in the forums.

If you must discuss your personal gripes and grievances against another resident, please utilize the more appropriate methods, such as private messages on the forum or instant messages or chat in-world. Thanks.

I've got a question for LL -

Why aren't forum threads locked or deleted when they get nasty like this?

I mean, seriously... In-World is one thing; but here we are on the LL/SL website. We're "guests" here. I don't think the TOS says Anything about being guaranteed the right to a web-forum.

If people can't abide by the terms of use for this forum, they should be disciplined; either through having their threads turned off, to squash this kind of conversation - OR by being muted/banned for awhile, until they can calm down.

I've seen you make hurtful or derogatory comments in threads just to do so. Most posts were out of place and not constructive to threads where players were looking into making RL money. I could search for some examples if needed.

So please spare us another of your victim routine. The guilt is not just placed on everyone else. The forums DO need to be monitored better. I agree on this.
