Well, there is, in world at least.
But, since I'm 1.0, and not Beta, nothing I've created in world actually exists. There seems to be a "beta/not beta" stigma. If you weren't here before the end of beta, you're just a spectator. If you WERE here before the end of beta, you're a revered contributor, no matter what. Even 5 years from now, anyone >=1.0 will be considered a "clueless n00b" by a certain segment of the population. Looks like we've just GOT to find a way to polarize people. |

Are you sure Feniks? ... Well... I am speaking from my experience, maybe there are some out there. But those I know from beta are very much not like that. Most I know have spent alot of time helping the newly arrived. I have to admit that being able to say you were part of the beta crowd is a very cool thing. Honestly tho, all it means is that I have been around longer. It does not assign to me anything other meaning or honor than that. fen- _____________________

Who are the most famous builders in SL? Eddie Escher, Juro Kothari, Lordfly Digeridoo, Maxx Monde. I think they are all "clueless noobs" The best clothing designers? Nephaline Protagonist and Nicola Escher are both definitely on that list. both are clueless noobs. See, you are in good company. You yourself are a poster girl for the SL website. I don't think clueless noobs are missing out on any respect or opportunities. _____________________

Michi... I would like to know more about why you feel like this. As far as non-beta people go, you are a rather famous and respected person in SL. It doesnt matter to me whether you were in beta or not. I've always liked you, even if you're constantly posting angry rants

Something seems to have pushed your button with a vengeance! But I can honestly say that I haven't seen anything in this thread to spark off such a reaction. If you have come across the attitude about which you are complaining elsewhere, then I hope you can expand on your comments, but if they are triggered by this thread alone, I have to say that IMO you are - not over-reacting, but mis-reacting. And incidentally, I have always regarded you as one of the more respected and influential figures of Second Life. That is nothing to do with how long you have been here. _____________________
