This thread has long outlived is usefullness and is thus being declared stupid.

Legal abortion on demand is on its way out. Can you say Judge Alito? :)

Sorry, just kidding ;)

Sure you are :P

Actually, I don't know how Alito would rule. Like I say, I want Roe V Wade stricken. I don't object to the basic concept, but it should have been handled in a more professional way. Roe V Wade is the legal equivilant of fixing your leaky plumbing with duct-tape.

I agree. States should decide what is in their best interest.

While that's fine conceptually, there *are* things that states shouldn't decide. To go backwards a few years, slavery comes to mind. Abortion may be one of those, I don't know.

But *regardless* of who should decide it, Roe V Wade is bad law.

The states should control all within their borders except those things specifically listed in the constitution as Federal powers. The tenth amendment to the constitution makes that very clear.

Unless you're about 80 years old then I'm right.

The major migration of NY'ers to Florida occured during the Florida Land Boom of the 1920s. Most NY'ers settling at the time in Miami and Palm Beach.

Most "New Yorkers" in Florida are second generation to Florida.

To prove that, first provide a number of all ex-nyers in Florida today, then show how many come each year. Then show how many were here in the 1960's who are still here.

btw, if a person is born in Florida, they aren't nyers.

kthxbye

Yes, they do. The supreme court has made a number of bad and incorrect descisions in the past.

Kelo v. New London, for example.

You made the point without any way to back it up. Without backing in fact I will accept it as your opinion and leave it there.

At least the Supreme Court writes down reasons why they uphold Roe Vs. Wade.

You simply say that it's bad law, and give no reasons. Do you even know what Roe Vs. Wade is really about? Hint: It's not about abortion.
