Why are you so angry and hell bent on insulting and speaking down to people who don't agree with you.

It seems that many of your posts that have to do with politics are little more than short insulting quips with little substantive reasoning.

Calling people morons, or fuckwits, or whatever else you do, really isn't necessary just because someone has a different view point than your own. Engaging you in political discourse is such an effort in futility because your views are so radical and you are so adamant about their veracity.


It's a shame to see so much anger for so little reason.

You know Kendra, people actually have legitimate reasons for voting for Bush which they believe are right and Bush is actually carrying out an agenda that more than 1/2 this country agrees with. Just because a person supports the president does not mean they support the president in all areas.

Bush's approval rating is currently at 30%. That would indicate to me that less than 1/3 of the populace supports his agenda.

He just vetoed the stem-cell bill in spite of the fact that the citizenry overwhelmingly supports federal funding of stem cell research.

The reasons most people who voted for Bush did so --is because they were ill informed or mislead as to Bush's intentions.

As it is he barely won his 2nd term, though he behaves as if he had the support of the vast majority.

you do realize that, we elect the man as well as his policies. I applaud him for vetoing the Bill (not because of the subject) I would rather have someone who is willing to speak, act and follow his own principles. The political climate in the US changes every day. I would rather have someone who does what he says and feels is right than someone who is willing to compromise his beliefs to gain that one approval point. In fact the approval polls are rather meaningless.

You want a "leader" and I want a "representative".

He is supposed to be President. Not King.

Who cares, polls are dynamic. And current polls are no indication of the support this country gives to the President, but his getting voted back into office for a 2nd term is.

How can you claim to know why "most people" voted for him? How were they ill-informed? Because they saw and read the same stuff you did and came to a different conclusion?

As an intel petty officer on an Admirals staff (JTFSWA - Joint Task Force Southwest Asia) I was in a position to see what was happening in the Middle-East and that alone was enough for me to vote for a President that would do something about it, which he is. Though many of you may disagree.

"Barely"? He won, that is all that matters. You sound like someone playing sports who lost and in excusing your loss you say "they barely won" as if to belittle the fact that they won. HE WON, even if it was by the hair of his chinny-chin-chin.
