There's no such thing as a "main" reason. Many reasons, all put together, made the Iraq invasion the correct thing to do. That seems to be a really difficult concept for a lot of people to understand, though. And Skank - how did he sell it to the people? We need a preemtive strike against these people with their huge deposit of weapons they could use against us all - blow up your home.... lookie lookie he has links with Al Quada - blah blah ad nausium. Shit the original campaign was called 'Operation Infinite Justice' before they turned it to 'Enduring Freedom' and finally 'Iraqi Freedom'.. ...sorry dude but the original sale was not 'Saddam is an evil man, lets spread the blessed wings of democracy across the middle east' It eventually morphed into that over time (and the non-issue of what they said were there - stockpiled weapons)

It's nice for you that you have decided to give up on trying to understand the truth about things, but that doesn't mean everyone else has to. So if people here really wanted to discuss your topic, they would. Extra conversations in the thread don't stop people from posting about your topic. By the time I had gotten finished my reply to you, it was knocked all the way to page three, which I pointed out on page 10. You never did get back to me on that. That is not my fault. It may actually be yours. Since the thread was spammed to hell with nondiscussion, you may not have seen it. That you are blatently ignoring that I set out a specific discussion topic and instead focusing on my own personal opinions (which I have pointed out are irrelevant and should be ignored to the point of discussion) makes it clear you do not want to discuss the topic. If you want to discuss my opinions, or bias, one way or another you could have pulled that particular idea out of the thread and started your own (since you are so obsessed with it). You should note my own responses to people whom could easily be identified as conservative, like Lecktor. Their particular opnion on the matter of whether or not a war is right or whether or not war in general is acceptable is irrelevant to their ideas as to how one might proceed. Given your logic, I could set up an alt called Camgirl Altman (or whatever) and spam every single thread constantly with links to camgirl sites. That is what you are essentially doing. Discuss the topic or start your own. |
