I'm British. My evening news is the legally-enforced neutrality of the BBC.

You funny :) The Biased Broadcasting Corp.? Heh. Never met a Palestinian they didn't like!

What part of Condi/Coulter '08 did you hate more? The idea of a woman President or the idea of a black President?

"You mean the same BBC the interviewed the wrong man on air? Or the BBC News that reported US troops hadn't reached Bagdad at the very moment US tanks were in the heart of the city? And do I even need to bring up the Hutton Inquiry?"

I said "neutral". I didn't say "accurate" or "competant".

Do you even know what "neutral" means? Seriously?

I can sympathize with them because the Democrat platform is incredibly nebulous, thus affording them maximum wiggle room and deniability. I mean if Democrats came out and said "We want to turn the USA into Europe, legalize drugs, tax you as much as possible, and abolish the prison system" they would never get elected again.

Okay, I've been searching the website for the Republican National Committee and I can't find the part where it says:

"We want to ban homosexuality, outlaw abortion, summarily execute drug users (other than alchohol and tobacco), eliminate taxes on the rich, and take away all "unnecessary" civil rights".

Since we're giving full disclosure, can you help me find that section please?

Yep. Working in the media myself, I do. That's why I find BBC's "neutrality" a laughable idea.

Just a thought...why don't you *read* the book? Here you are slamming the woman and accusing her of things based on what? What Keith Olbermann said? Some random quotes from her books?

-Kiamat Dusk

Yeah, you guys! Read the book! Read in one of her earlier ones how she defends Joe McCarthy. Read THAT!

JOE. FRICKIN'. McCARTHY.

She defends him.

I'm serious.

Read about the greedy "Millionaires" who's husbands died in 911 and how they DARE to speak out against the current administration. I mean, come on... those BITCHES!

Read up, folks. It's the wave of the future.

Oh, wait. It's all an act. It's all a character she plays, as she has said.

The same woman who said, when two guys threw pies at her, "[A]n act of terrorism was committed against me."

Yep. This is the woman we should be listening to.

Ummmm...because they don't?
Homosexuality: I'm sure the Log Cabin Republicans would be stunned to find that out. Or do you just discount any minority who fails to remain loyal to the hard left cause?

Abortion: What the RNC wants outlawed is abortion on demand as a contraceptive measure and especially late term abortion

Executing drug users: You are really, really reaching here.

Taxes: RNC has always been a proponent of lowering the tax burden on everybody.

Civil Right: Which "unnecessary" civil rights are you referring to? (please say affirmative action, please say affirmative action...)

At least mine are based on fact. Banning gay marriage does not remotely equate to "we want to ban homosexuality". On the other hand the Dukakis furlough program that released Willie Horton who was sentenced to life without possibility of parole...I say again...without possibility of parole...is along the same lines as banning prisons. And don't even get me started on leniency toward child predators.

Neither... it's the idea of that psycho hag being Vice President.

But nice try twisting it to sound like that person's a racist AND a sexist! Well done on that.

My mind is a-boggling.

Let me try to understand just one of your points. So, Dukakis is the representative, sole voice and shining example of the democratic party. And letting some prisoners out on work furlough is equivalent to banning prisons.

Hard to argue with that. Really, it's damn near impossible.

Anyway, if the word you were searching for was "equivocal" you succeeded. In misleading and confusing, that is.

You like that? I loooove doing that since it's the favorite tactic of the Hard Left. Wanna get rid of welfare? You're a racist. Get rid of affirmative action? Bigot. If you can't win on the facts, and Hard Lefties seldom can, call your opponent a racist.

Or in the words of Peter Brimelow, "The modern definition of 'racist' is someone who is winning an argument with a liberal."

Gah! Just call me another victim of a public school education. And thank you for demonstrating another common Hard Left tactic-can't fight the facts, assualt the spelling. "Look the monkey can't spell-his argument is invalid!"

So you like and believe Ann (Hate Monger) Coulter, despite the cruel and ridiculous things she says and the obvious lies and publicity stunts, and you think Joe McCarthy was right.

Ok.

Nuff said. ;)

So you dub Ann Coulter a hatemonger, accuse her of lying, and have no facts to back it up. Oh, and then you posit that Joe McCarthy wasn't right when history, buried as it may be, proves otherwise.

You guys are really coming through for me tonight.

Immorality? Such as what? Allowing gays to marry? Allowing women to have control over thier own bodies? Teaching science in classrooms?

I'm very curious to hear some examples of the moral decay you speak of.

It's interesting how you automatically assume the worst, Juro. Sensitive, are we? I coudn't give a crap about who you marry or what you do with your own body.

But that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the fact that more and more people feel it's okay to lie, steal, cheat, or do even worse things as long as they don't get caught.

Look at the rise in crime and gang violence. I'm seeing just strange, sick things in the news more and more often: about some guy raping and killing a baby, or a man who shot and killed a dozen women in his house... some of whom were his own children by incestuous relationships with his own daughters!

Everywhere I look, I see people who don't care about their fellow man. They don't care about society's best interest. They want their own first, and to hell with the rest of them.

Our cities are decaying because the governing bodies are padding their pension funds and then turning around and ripping the same funds off to pay for vacations and pay raises. or the Mayors are selling off the land in return for generous campaign contributions (which they get to keep for themselves once the campaign is over). Cities like Detroit, San Diego, and Chicago are just rife with the stench of political corruption.

Our own government is for sale: we have corruption scandals on both sides of the House and Senate. Just look at the Net Neutrality issue: the House of Representatives might as well have just stamped "Sold" on their foreheads.

Cold blooded killers get off because of technicalities like "they're orphans", despite the fact that it was their own parents they killed.

It's no wonder when you talk to a teenager today about little things like "right" and "wrong", they just say something like "who's going to make me" or "it's okay if nobody finds out". Their leaders, their role models, are doing exactly the same thing. They're lying, cheating, stealing, and hoping the American people don't find out. When we do, they just change the laws to make it legal, and do the same thing all over again.

Finally, look at the multicultural movement. They seek to emphasize and recognize every culture except the unique American culture. I watch what our kids see on TV, and how they're been indoctrinated by the cartoons that show them all about the wonders of these different cultures... but never are our own heroes and past mentioned. It's not "multicultural", it's "evey culture but our own". Two of the most popular kid's shows teach our kids Spanish words, but in the same program use the WRONG, dumbed-down English words for things?

Our own national roots are being torn out from underneath us, both from the inside and the outside. There are hatemongers and idiots on BOTH sides of the political fence. The only difference is who they want to prey off of. Some want to feed of the rich. Some want to lift themselves up on the broken backs of the poor. BOTH sides can't seem to stop and actually THINK long enough to do the RIGHT thing.

And we, the American public, are not helping. We're simply running around like lemmings, spouting the drivel that our political parties put out, as if the idiots in power actually know what the hell they're talking about.

It makes me want to scream. When are people going to actually start thinking for themselves, instead of just jumping on whatever bandwagon passes in front of them?
