Everywhere I go, people demonstrate their indifference and contempt for me, because clearly I'm a human being, and I'm blatant about it. I try not to promote humanity. I just can't seem to stop. :(

Enforcing its rules is not promoting discrimination...

If the rule is discriminatory, enforcing it is promoting discrimination.

If you honestly believe that the school is promoting intolerance, explain how.

By expelling a student who is gay.

Even IF a religious belief does promote intolerance, who are you or I to say that that religious belief is wrong, per se? What gives any "non-believer" justification to judge another's religious beliefs and practices?

All believers are equal, all beliefs aren't. Every person has the right to believe however and whatever he wishes. That does not make all beliefs equal. If you believe babies come from storks and I believe babies come from zygotes, you're wrong. And I get to say so.

If I find your religious beliefs to be intolerant or ignorant or bigoted or chauvinist, I get to say so. Welcome to the free world.
