I don't know - depends how big the database is. If the reports are right, 5.4 million objects is quite a few, esp added to all the objects from all others in the DB. *shrugs* I would imagine some time is being spent to discuss how to proceed too. billion not million lmaoooooooooo big difference |

Ok someone plz tell me when did all this stuff happen? And I dont want to hear.. oh just 30 min ago.. cause them im gonna be up a wall and looking for a creek to drown in. And if this guy doesnt get banned from SL.. wich I highly expect he will... his butt needs to be banned from ever single plot of land.. big and small in SL. And the funny thing about all this is.. that if he really wished to do this again.. he possibly could unless the Lindens take measures to prevent this in the upcomming release.. cause all he would have to do is Download it onto another computer outside his house or Box.. that has a different IP adress borrow someones credit card and BAM were down again! *not to give the wanker anymore ideas* I say screw the pitch forks... screw the tar, honey and bee's... Bring the wanker down by his insides.. like in the movie SAW.. He isnt smarter then us.. infact his dumber then a new born baby. Tell me guys how many brain cells does it take a griefer to bring down SL? 2... 1 to be completely dumb and the other to actully make something that ALREADY is in SL worse! thing is they have been banned once before, the idot used the same avatar as before I was talking to my neighbour today and he walked in, linden need to get onto the ISP's of theses idoits. |

The person that caused sl to crash is named ol fitzcarraledo.........he did that to my man and i at our sl house and we reported him. today he apparently came back for revenge.(what a whimp).my man happened to be there when he saw ol let this black particles blow all ovre and blew my man up.

/54/a5/64254/1.html I agree with Asalis it would be just as easy for this user to just get his IP changed I have seen it many times... just chance ur connection on ur network and it changes IP. theres never a true defence to prevent these ppl but at least we can try... Meanwhile I declared it open seson in Duck for this SoB Also I have my physics repeller at the ready. Althou I need to rescript it to automatic insted of text command. _____________________

True, however those IPs are OWNED by the attackers ISP. You can easily find out what IP is controled by what ISP. All linden labs needs to do is contact the ISP, the ISP will help LL with contacting the bastard, and that bastard is screwed because now we have a real world name to tag all damages this guy caused and is liable for. And lets face it.. he doesn't just owe LL, he owes anyone who uses LindeX to trade and anyone who owns a business in SL where they (or could) make a profit off of. This guy has to owe a nice 6 figure amount totalling everything he owes everyone in SL including LL. |

I seriously don't understand one thing. I was not in a crashing SIM I only got a message from Karen Linden to log off cause they were gonna update to 1.7.
However... I can STILL not log on like some of you guys say you can! Oh and may I express my feelings for this Ol guy: You should have on arm tied to a horse, the other to another horse and these horses should be set to run in opposite direction. Now you will have to script with your NOSE if you survive. Have a good night Ol, sleep tight knowing the lawsuit you're facing. |

That guy lives in my sim, him and his group have been causing trouble for me and my neighbours for weeks. We have sent in about over 50 abuse reports between us, my neighbour Anna has been on the phone to linden about this!!! They put up some obesence stuff on their land as well you don't what to know what it is lets say I sent an abuse report with a picture of burning crosses like KKK and all that This should now be enough reason to kick those idoits of our sim and we can get back to a nice quiet neighbourhood nahaahahahaha heyheyhey goodbye! I met the guy about a week (possibly slightly more) before all this, really doesn't surprise me, I banned him from my own land then because he *really* irritated me. I've got land neighbouring the w-hat group's, in the sim next to it, so wouldn't be surprised if it was one of the first few sims to go down. |
