You forgot to mention one of my forum pet peeves... Second Life goes down sometimes for maintenance and for grid attacks etc. For the love of all that is holy and sacred PLEASE read the forums first before you post your "OMGWTFLOL I can't login HELP! Linden Lab should compensate us " post. Chances are there are 10 others floating around out there. Starting a new one in unnecessary and makes you look silly. Its like standing in the library screaming at the librarian OMG WHERE ARE THE BOOKS!!!!!! I'm going to tear up my library card if you don't start showing me some BOOKS. Meanwhile, as you would notice if you looked around that you were surrounded by all sorts of books. _____________________

I mean, that's like saying that if I was to cheat at cards (I don't BTW ), then that's not fair, but then the group has to accept it and not do anything about it because "life isn't fair". Just because life isn't fair doesn't mean that it's OK for every single thing that is a subset of life to not be fair too. |

They start out with a free account and expect everyone to hand them everything they want for free. If they don't get the results they want, they complain like "aww but i don't have enough money". If they can't earn it they have to rely on stipends or buy it. Creating content for the world is the best way IMO being a content creator and all. BUT i do agree that if the script is accessible you can learn from it and create something of your own to sell. I mark everything of mine as no transfer (freebie or not) to avoid theft.
