BITE ME!! ![]() I'm coo coo for cocopuffs That seemed to be the only apros pos thing I could say while reading this post and listening to A Shoggoth on the Roof. There are a few things that offend me, most of which I don't care enough about to expound upon, however some people are just complete and total smacktards no matter what they say or do. _____________________

That's from No Exit, isn't it? ![]() I prefer Randall from Clerks: "This job would be GREAT if it wasn't for the fucking customers." Or Linus, from Peanuts, after being accused by his sister Lucy of not loving humanity: "I love humanity... it's PEOPLE I can't stand!" ![]() P2 _____________________

I personally am Theatarded. I have yet to define this beyond someone who doesn't *get* theater or musicals, but has a penchant for being a drama queen sometimes. _____________________

A tard between the hours of 6am-noon. This can be offset with liberal applications of caffiene or sex (only after brushing). _____________________

Opinion:
New category: People who just have to get it off their chest every so often how much they dislike other people, how wrong those other people are, and all the reasons why; as well as those people who join in with them, so they can all feel annoyed and superior together, with warm fuzzies all around. Corrolary: Making it obvious among regular forum-goers who they are talking about (even naming one of the people), then adding a preventive codicil that anyone who guesses they are being talked about (even if named), has to be wrong, which gives rise to yet a whole new category to rake people over the coals with. As to this "tard" business: Where is Walba Threadkiller when you need her? coco _____________________

As to this "tard" business: Where is Walba Threadkiller when you need her? coco Oh for Pete's sake, go get your own thread to have a spaz in. I named no one. If you identify with one of pet peeves I listed, then it's your problem. If the shoe doesn't fit, then why do you keep cramming your foot into it? At least I'm honest. When I get fed up and tired of people's BS I don't pretend to be a paragon of virtue whom everyone is victimizing. I just call it as I see it. If you don't like it, then I suggest you don't read it. You still don't seem to be able to find the ignore key. P.S. Corollary has only one r and two lls. _____________________

This has been a hell of a week... new entry
People who think the Rules don't Apply to Them I don't like rules anymore than the next person, but recognizing that I'd like anarchy even less I tend to be pretty law abiding. (OK... I interpret the speed limit liberally, except in OH). I either follow the rules, or if I break a rule and I get caught, I just deal with the consequences and go on - no big drama. WTF is up with people who think that their special and the rules shouldn't apply to them? These would be the people who pull out their cell phone in the middle of movies; who take camera phones into restricted areas; and who let leave their dogs crap on the sidewalk or neighbors yard. Then, if they get busted, they get all indignant. There is always some special reason why the rule doesn't apply to them.... like that they're breathing. Or how unfair it is that other people have gotten away with it. Ad nauseum. I can understand analyzing a rule which violates some basic principal of human rights and saying "fuck it - stuff your immoral law." But these people never seem to be taking a stand on anything other than their convenience or personal gain. I think I'm ready for a vacation on a desert island. ![]() _____________________

they're coocoo for cocopuffs It's traditional in every forum that I've posted in that if you quote someone, you are indeed referring to them. While I am flattered at being mistaken for the lovely and incredibly talented Jennyfur, Flip will attest that I am not the woman sharing his bed nights. Coco, if you have a strong urge to take offense with Jennyfur, I suggest you take it to IMs, or some other suitable venue. OR.... *stares pointedly at the ignore icon* Before someone with time on their hands gets the strong urge to post links to all the times you have broken the "no personal attacks" rules in the forums. _____________________

Um - Surreal. I don't think Coco was referring to you. Heh. Not being privy to the inner workings of her mind, but only to her previous posting history, Based on that, I came down on the side of if someone responds in your thread in this way, they are addressing the OP. Since the the comments were obviously targeted, instead of general as mine were, I responded to clarify that mine are general. This is not disingenuous. Each of my points were drawn from encounters with at least three people this last week. If Coco has a problem with Jennyfur, as her later quote clarified - even though she quoted me for some unknown reason, then she has three recourses that spring to my mind: Ignore (perm solution), AR (see if a Linden agrees with you), IM (work it out in person - usually works for me). Sorry Selador if I ended up doing a very long response to your short point. I blame the complete lack of coffee in my life this morning. Heads Must Roll!! ![]() _____________________

Getting the thread back on track to general rantage....
WTF is up with the Earth rotating around the Sun... This causes morning to happen, which means eye-searing light enters my bedroom windows through tiny cracks in the blackout blinds and assaults my optic nerve long before I am ready to rise as a coffee zombie. This also significantly affects the safety and well-being of anyone approaching me before I have swallowed that first steaming cup of bliss (unless they intelligently enter the room with a cup held out before them (2 sugars, 1 cream). Also, this causes Monday morning to come around again long before it is welcome. It's good to have cosmic forces to blame for my aching head and rank taste in my mouth. (No, not the bottle of tequilla - take heed, it killed the worm!!) *shambles off, dragging one leg, arm outstretched groping the coffee pot* ------------------ On a totally unrelated note: If you like zombie movies, and you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead, go to your video store RIGHT NOW and rent it. Do not let another day go by without laughing your ass off at this movie! _____________________
